Some cleanup of right bar.

I've made some drastic alterations to a couple of pages to try and improve our performance on search engines, and also to reduce clutter. Some of the changes are:

• news article pages will no longer have most of the right bar boxes
• the "Recently Approved" box is now completely gone. It was redundant on the homepage anyway. Digg and other social sites don't have this list and it seems to work in their favour
• We now only list the past 6 months of news when using the Recent listing. This is a performance tweak.

I may tweak a few more things to simplify GG. For instance, the game pages might get a major right bar trimming. For example, check out the RE 5 page - removing the entire right bar altogether might make that page work ALOT better.

UPDATE: After looking at that RE page some more, I decided to also remove the right bar altogether from that page. Let's see how that serves us for the time being. I feel it becomes a lot cleaner.

I agree with Finalblade, navigating the site is not nearly as fluid or easy anymore. I agree with the second two changes and maybe even the last one one but the first seems rather drastic.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I've brought back the participated box. I was contemplating leaving participated and recently approved in the news article pages, and I'm still thinking about restoring the Recently Approved in the news articles.

I forgot to add that the participated box now only displays items with activity in the past 48hours. Let me know if that causes problems for you.
