Please only post news that's 3-4 days old

Thanks to everyone who are posting great news on GameGrep. However, we're begining to notice that there's some news being posted that's just not really news anymore. Some of the things being posted are simply too old.

In the effort of keeping things fresh we're asking members to try to post news that's only 1-2 days old. If there's something exceptionally interesting that's 3-5 days old you may also submit that, but PLEASE do a search to make sure its not something that's been discussed already.

From today onwards news that is older than 3-4 days will be rejected. We're trying this as an experiment to see whether it will help improve the quality of news.

Feedback for this is more than welcome, however. I'm aware not everyone reads news everyday so even old news is "new" to them, but I think most of you will find that this policy will actually improve things.

If the date labled on the news post is more than 2 days old then no. A site could have a month old article on their sites main page and it wouldn't be news anymore not that I know of any decent sites who do that, but still.

That's why you should always try to find the ogirinal source of the article and actually link to it, not the site that quotes or summarizes it.

The actual rule or what we GG Approvers/Mods are told is that the news can be posted if it's 3 days old(I go by 4) and if it's a review then 7 days.
