Since people are confused as to how to use Video tags, and what video tags to actually use, I've made this post to include the different types of tags, and where to get the information that you need for them:
Tags: [gamespot][/gamespot] How to Get The Information: The information that you need to put into the tags can be found from the url of the video:
You can also get it through the video itself. Just click on the menu icon, followed by the embed icon and you'll see Gamespots own tag. The numbers located here are what you need:
The number you see here is what you need to input into the above tags. The Output:
Game Trailers
Tags: [gametrailers][/gametrailers] How to Get The Information: The information that you need to put into the tags can be found from the url of the video: The number you see between the /player/ and .html is what needs to be inputted into the above tags. The Output:
Game Trailers (User Video)
Tags: [gametrailers_uservideo][/gametrailers_uservideo] How to Get The Information: The information that you need to put into the tags can again be found from the url of the video (just like the normal GameTrailers videos): The number you see between the /player/usermovies/ and .html is what needs to be inputted into the above tags. The Output:
Game Videos
Tags: [gamevideos][/gamevideos] How to Get The Information: Again URL's are a great place, however sometimes the URL doesn't change for GameVideos (when you go to a video from the main page). The information, like previously can be found next to the vidoe itself:
Just above the "Digg it" and "Share on Facebook" links, is a text box that has a link in it. You need the video id, which is basically the very last 5 digit number.
The Output:
IGN:
Tags: [ignvideo][/ignvideo] How to Get The Information: IGN is a whole different story in comparison to the previous two. To get this information you need to go to the video in question: Once your at the video, you need to click the "Embed Video" link. Click on "IGN Format" and you get a whole load of code.... yup you need that WHOLE thing. Simply copy and paste that in it's entireity. The Output:
NeoVids:
Tags: [neovid][/neovid] How to Get The Information: This is located on the left hand side of every video: Just click on the text box, and press CTRL+C and this will copy it to your clipboard The Output:
Youtube:
Tags: [youtube][/youtube] How to Get The Information: Again what you need is in the url: You need to copy the bit after the "watch?v=" and put it into the above tags The Output:

I wasn't sure where to place this, but I was curious if it's possible in the future to embed Playstationblog video format on Neoseeker. Like how we have the [youtube][/youtube] video tags, I was curious if we make a similar thing with [playstationblog][/playstationblog]?
Or [PSBlogvideo][/PSBlogvideo]. Any variation would work.
Spoiler: PSBlog embed
This is what it looks like when you click the embed icon:
I should add that you don't actually need to support it, though I know every little helps, I'll add this to Redemptions todo list right now, hopefully he can take a look into it, and it turns out to be doable. One of the other sites we tried (GameKyo) just wasn't possible, hopefully this'll be easier. In any case, just keep your fingers crossed...
Kru Edit: As promised, I added to his todo list, and we shall be getting a [viddler][/viddler] tag since the videos are actually all from Viddler, and this'll mean other sites that use Viddler Videos will also be supported.
No ETA yet, but he'll look into it after forum stabalising issues...

Thanks Krunal. I was thinking about this for awhile and I was talking to Xenctuary on IRC and he told me to suggest it since it's a good idea. Alot of good people at Playstation blog like Jeff get inside interviews with Actors/game info. It'll be nice to finally have it emdedded here in the future.
Ok maybe it's just be but i still can't add a video to the article. Can someone please explain step by step what i need to do. I don't know where the tags you are talking about are. I just need to know where do i paste the embed code. thanks
