This is just meant to be a quick post listing the various factors and ways you get points on GameGrep. It's not a fancy FAQ as it's all relatively simple information. As it's still in BETA and been released a day or so, it's likely it will change over time as things are evaluated. If this happens I'll continue to edit this so it reflects accurate information.
Gaining Points
Submitting an Article: Submitting an article to GameGrep will give you 2 points.
Getting an Article Approved: When you submit an article, you get points, but it can still be rejected. If it does get approved and placed on the site, you get an extra 1 point.
Adding Screenshots to a Submission: For each screenshot of your own that you add, you will receive 1 point.
Attaching a Neoseeker Profile: If you attach a Neoseeker profile to your article, and it's related to the news, then you gain an extra point.
Posting a Comment: Your first comment above 150 characters on an article is worth 2 points. Any comments after that (on the same article) that is over 72 characters is then worth 1 point.
High Amount of Rates:
30 rates - get 5 bonus points
75 rates - get 10 bonus points
150 rates - get 15 bonus points
300 rates - get 15 bonus points
500 rates - get 30 bonus points
Losing Points
Comment Deleted: If your comment is deleted, you will lose 4 points.
Image Removed: If an image was removed, you will lose 1 point.
