I think 10,000 was a reachable but very hard goal. It would be possible if members posted lots of articles and the rest of the community participated in them and promoted them on other sites. Article bonus points and comments could easily do 10,000 points. The problem is not everyone is participating and not enough awareness. I'm going to make a forum wide announcement to see if that picks up enough activity and we're going to get that contest stats thing fixed so you guys can track progress. Worse comes to worse we extend it by a day since having the stats not updating properly prevents participants from properly gauging progress.

Tbh I never expected week 3 to fail. We set the initial goals high but not impossibly high. 8000 is REALLY doable. Since week 3 failed week 4's prize goes up but so does the difficulty. Let's see what happens when people pick things up.

I mean, we basically failed the 3rd week coz we couldn't keep track because of the lousy bug, right?
