How hard do you hit your drums? For me I hit them pretty hard, and even harder at the chorus. My brother always tells me to stop hitting them so hard, but nothing has broke so far.

I can get pretty into it. I also have decent self control though, so I don't go overboard.

I'm too hard on the Bass pedal though. I've brought my knee up and disconnected the top part from the legs before.

Doesn't really matter if you're using the sock mod; HIT THEM AS HARD AS YOU LIKE.

I hit them as hard as the song/section merits. On songs like ...And Justice for All or Electric Eye, I'll beat the shit out of the drums, while on a song like Bloom, I'll be lightly tapping the set.
