Does anyone have some tips for singing? I'm doing Band World Tour by myself; singing and playing guitar. The only problem is, though, that I suck at singing. I can't get the little pitch arrow thing to match up with the line, and I'll fail at singing. If I don't know the words to a song, I'll just try to hum, but that doesn't even work most of the times. The only song I did really good on was Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. Everything else, I passed just barely. So, yeah... any tips on how I can get that little arrow to stay in the line? Like, do I have to have just the right pitch? Or is it melody even? Or... yeah. .__.

You could do what my friend does, although its kind of boring. He just talks really quietly into the microphone for lower notes, and he talks louder for higher notes. Your voice naturally has a higher pitch when you talk louder, so it works out perfectly. Its boring though since you don't actually sing, you just talk at different volumes.

He's able to pass every song on Expert by the way. Most songs he gets at least 85% as well.

listen to the songs on the internet and mimic what the singer does or play a recording of song into the mic

Kyle is right. Quite personally, if I try to sing loud I can't hit a note but if I sing softer I can hit everything. However, I do go just a touch louder for higher notes. I'll have to go back to Easy so I can sing on Expert and actually be able to be heard.

Thanks, that talking thing helped a lot. Hopefully I won't have to do both for much longer. I just want all the achievements that you can get by playing Band World Tour.
