still haven't found any platinum while doing band quickplay, no coattails as of yet =\

I'm actually going to do the endless setlist on Expert with my friend (hopefully before this month ends), we recently got past the hall of fame induction (and that was me going over there 3 times), so we need around 130 more stars, I spend the night then we wake up and play the endless setlist. Luckily he can at least pass everything on Bass Expert, if I keep some SP to have him alive on certain songs, but hey, I'm not going for points; beating it would be fine enough for me. I did beat it on Hard with my cousin, and that was because he sucks so I forced him on Bass Hard and so my brother was leader and I played Drums on Hard. No need to play on Expert and struggle with Outside and Run to the Hills when I can just play on Hard and have fun.

ah well im never getting platinum artist since my friends can only play hard and the one that can play expert is meh.

Yeah, the only other person I can play Expert with is my brother drumming and he... he doesn't want to do it, to say the least.

Woo, just finished recording a video of Green Grass and High Tides and I did pretty good. Third best run, at least. 483k, above that is 485k and above that is 490 something k, under my friend's gamer-tag. All in all, good run, FCed Guitar Solo 2H-2J.

Has anyone found that some people just CAN'T play Rock Band?

Not trying to be critical but a few friends of mine don't have great sense of rhythm so they shy from the drums, then have a hard time with fingerings on the guitar so they decide on vocals, which they have a difficult time singing in-tune. ._. Whereas a few other friends of mine are crazy and can take on most of the instruments, 'sides vocals.

I don't think I'll ever be good at drums, such a pain for me, off-beats seem impossible for my body to learn. xD


One last thing, does anyone actually prefer the Strat over the GH guitars? I like how close the buttons are, hate how mine broke and I can't seem to fix it...yeah, I've looked at the microswitch guide and readjusting the connectors, didn't work to fix my double strum issue.

i dont care for the strat all because of the strum bar. it just sits next to mine that hangs on the wall since theyre the same color scheme. gh guitars>rb strat.

as for ability none of my friends are all too good with consistency and can not hold a beat at all, except for my neighbor who is pretty decent on hard for guitar and drums. but i don't mind playing with anyone since in the end i can still have fun with them. when they get cocky though thats what pisses me off.

i have three guitars now a white les paul studio, a red sg custom, and just a regular old blk strat, with my dads drum set in the back of the house. said friend attempted to show his superior skills over me and ended up snapping my E string and piercing(i know wtf) the snare on the drums.

How can you pull off stuff like Green Grass and High Tides with a GH guitar? I can't seem to get past the extremely picky HO/PO system in RB when I'm using this bulky GH Les Paul. :/

Sure, I love the strum and it's much better in every other way but the trademark gigantic frets make it really hard to be as dexterous as RB demands.

About your instruments, sucks, maybe you should just hand said friend a tambourine or a cowbell.

Man I really really need to get Rock Band I suppose that it could help my voice back in focus I was a singer like Malicious but I stopped singing all the time and just kind of sing song that I know that are not necessarily my vocal range.

The song is relatively easy, on the X-Plorer at least. I use it all the time, and my average is about 480k on Green Grass. Fairly easy song, I found "I Get By" much harder to gold star because of it's odd rhythm.

Same here, but I'm making an effort to gold star all 58 songs on Rock Band, all I'm missing is Train Kept A-Rollin', Run to the Hills, Brainpower, Seven, and Outside.

Ehm, noob question but what does five 'gold' stars mean? Is it like hitting all the notes?
