The only way that I have been able to defeat the Centaurs, when they are both throwing fireballs at me at the same time, is to have her swim underwater into a hidden cave, and then to just wait there for awhile, as you can then watch one of the Centaurs life meter gradually go down, as they will continue throwing fireballs at you without harming, once you are able to make it to the hidden cave(make sure you can swim fast). Then, afterwords you might get lucky enough to emerge with only one of the Centaurs left alive, with whom you can then easily dispatch.

There is another, more strategical, way of defeating these foes.

I have been very frustrated with this part of the game. I think it was very bad of the designers to make it so the only way you could get past is with the adrenline dodge. Not everybody is good at mastering flashy moves like that, but that doesn't mean to say they shouldn't be allowed to play games like this. I was able to kill the T-Rex with good old fashion shoot and dodge and shoot again which was part and parcel of the old TR games. So I thing it's a kind of discimination to put something in like this that appears to be diffult for so many people, you just need to look at lots of forums to see how many people have struggled with it. I hope this move isn't in the new game Underworld.

smithswood was right (Highlight the box a few posts above), that's the only other way you can successfully defeat the centaurs.

I haven't ever heard of your way of doing it (Standing in the cave) but it sounds fairly effective.
