I'm looking for some PS3 games to buy. I hear a lot of good things about this game. What kind of game is this? What game is it similar to?

Its an adventure game that involves quite a fair bit of different types of gameplay in which the main ones are platformers (lots of climbing, jumping, swinging etc) and shooting (i heard its similar to gears of war, though i never played gears of war). You can also fight hand to hand as well.

You should give it a go. Its an awesome game.

Kind of, but with a lot more shoot outs.

The cover system is very frustrating for me, but that's just my opinion.

The cover system is good. The jumping sections are pretty much like Tomb Raider, yeah. Besides it has lots of action, shoot and cover Gears of War style shoot outs and Indiana Jones storyline.

The main character is great, really.

And of course: One of, or maybe even the best looking game on the PS3. Lush, colorful and intense jungles and vegetation, brutal lightning, *bleep*ing amazing facial animations... You name it. Check out a vid or two of the game, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Yes it is good, but also frustrating when rolling out of cover. Sometimes I tend to take cover when I don't want to.

The story line is also pretty good too.

The only bad thing I would say is the length, but most people get a lot of reply value out it anyway.

I'd rent it first, to see if it's something you'll play more than once.
