Yeh. I like Mario and all but i like Sonic even better. They would all win.

WALUIGI IS # 1 oh yeah and lanceaus or however you spell it donkey kong isnt the main character hes an old supporting character anyways i dont like donkey kong he bothers me.

I am a fan of both mario and sonic but i think sonic

sonic is soo old and noo one likes him any more
and besides this is the order of best characters in the game:
mario best runner and a awsome high jumper also evens outs the team
luigi best hurdeler by a long shot
peach best swimmer by a long shot and is second best at trampoline
yoshi equall speed as sonic has more stamina though
daisy her speed and power makes her tones better than shadow
bowser his hammer through destroys every one especially knuckles
wario his accuracy is soo awsome nobody is as one eyed as him
waluigi his skill makes the trampoline events soooooo boring (oh and besides i hate waluigi but every one else is cool but daisys voice is sooo annoing)
thats all mario is heaps better than sonic because it did everything before sonic and marios platformers are heaps better especially the mario partys.:P:P:P:)
