This is getting really annoying. Some of the best levels online are being deleted because of copyright concerns, like Tetrin.jp and other themed levels. If anything, imitators like Tetrin only increase interest in the original games and/or subject material, and they shouldn't be removed. Countless PC retail games have mods taking directly from copyrighted sources, but the moment a console game does, they trample all over it?

Censorship is annoying and unnecessary.

I never thought of it that way.

Many times I have watched a youtube vid and heard a song that I have liked.I have then looked up more of the bands music and ended up becoming a big fan of the band.Take Dragonforce for instance, metal isn't my thing so unless I found it on something else I'm interested in, I wouldn't have ended up buying their albums.

While that is a little different than a level being made buy a fan of something, it's still the same principle as something having interest gained by others.

I got into Bloc Party because of a football vid featuring their song 'Helicopter'.

I think the God of War level is down too.

Damn, for all they claim its pretty small time, a lot of popular levels seem to be biting the dust.

This sucks. It's not copyright infringement if it's at least 10% different. You could record a movie off your T.V., then add yourself sitting and staring at the camera for 30 minutes at the end, and it'd count as new intellectual property.
Or so I've been told.

Wow, it's just all ridiculous.
I mean, even some levels which were NOTHING like anything else, levels that were original and werent even tributes got deleted, seriously, W T F ? !

Azure Palace and World of Colour are down? I'm getting *bleep*ing annoyed now. I can't think of a single thing that World of Colour would have any reason to be moderated for, and Azure Palace would at best have vague references to other games with water and dragons.

Who knows anymore? If they're taking down greats like Azure Palace... Nothing is safe, really.
