I'm curious on the growth of all the characters for every user. In my case I'm trying to get over the socialistic view (everyone moves up to level 22! No one left behind!) and push towards a more darwinistic turn (survival of the fittest! Pour growth points for the weak)

And in my efforts of gaining experience, a lone figure stepped ahead of the herd and grasped that golden crown of achievement...

LEVEL 99

So I want to know is, who was your first character to reach level 99?

For me, it was the monster Dian Wei.

Press square, square, R1, and not even Orochi can stand his ground. This devastating attack explodes crowds, sends generals into a flaming juggle, and drains the souls from all that look upon it!!!

No. No they can't, man!

The discovery of this cheapness and strength lead to Dian Wei becoming a sort of chaparone for two semi-weak characters to venture into full-blown four star Hard mode levels for 4th weapon expeditions. Dian Wei was meant to get them out of jams or soften up tough generals, but he quickly went too far and destroyed everyone!

Now I got a Dian Wei with a maxed-out Mad Bull (4th weapon) and the rest of his weapon slots are other Mad Bulls.

Now that he is 99, I'm going to bench himm and let other monsters flourish...

So, who's your first character to turn 99? Any reason why?

My first was Kotaro Fuma simply because he was the general killer of the group. I had other people clear crowds and he just got all the GP.

Second was i think Ginchiyo and I have NO idea how. I spammed her R1 alot, to kill generals and crowds so maybe she just wracked up points in secret.

Third was Guan Ping, for obiovus reasons. I have two versions of Young Dragon that are maxed out and the rest of his slots are Young Dragons

Fourth was Cao Cao for buffing and his SSSSSTTT

and then Musashi and Hideyoshi are my other 99s just because of heir awesome buffs.


I'm currently trying to get everyone i like to 50

I don't remember actually, I have quite a few level 99's now. But it was either Kotaro Fuma or Nene.

Kunoichi!
(actually shes my only lvl 99.)
After her comes:
Yoshimoto Imagawa: lvl 97
Yuan Shao: lvl 96
Zhuge Liang: lvl 96
Zhu Rong: Lvl 90
Ma Zhao: 86

and so on... there are some characters inbetween, but I can't remember their lvl.

Mitsunari Ishida/ Sima Yi/ Zhou Yu are my obvious first to be lvl 99

Honda, Keiji, Lu Bu and Orochi are good under way to lvl 99, as they already breached the 80's

I got Tadakatsu Honda to 99 first, I think it was because I used him as the killer for hunting down fourth weapons. He was followed by: Lu Bu, Kotaro Fuuma, Zhou Tai, Guan Ping, Nobunaga Oda, Xiahou Dun, and Yue Ying. Most of my other characters are either fresh or 20-40s.

Mushasi Miyamoto

Cao Ren. I kept putting him on my team because he amuses me, his move set is fun and effective, and he hits like a truck and takes damage like a brick wall. He hit 99 without much conscious effort from me.

Xiahou Dun was a close second.

Zhen Ji

I absolutely love her, she is absolutely incredible. Her mousou attacks destroy all soliders around her, she is pretty powerful, and I just love her character. I got her to level 99 in no time.

And then you broke my heart T_T

Ice, Bolt, Slay, Brave, Range, Multi ,Agility and Rage And then use her as the last link in a musou. If you are so lucky that you get a 10 second long musou right before swithcing to her you'll get a super speedy chop-chop spin around killer musou. And if you then again buff her with Hideyoshi and Keji before going into the musou, you will see her at her best.
But of course she beats the shit out of everyone else without any cheaty-cheaty extra effects. The bolt and range makes her SSTTT turned into a massive range killing machine. And with slay, the effect of the attack is super destructive. Also her Multis gives a pretty good side effect with her TTT, it ends with two kunoichis side to side slashing over the enemy.

Shes my standard Chaos type! And I just completed Koshi castle using her alone (exeption: Musou and buffing, but all the fighting was hers. My KO count: 1500 )
