All Nike, Puma, adidas etc... think about is how much money they make. Fortunately, we are a club who have been taken over by an American group, how will Nike get a revolutionary club to get attention and to broader their ventures ? Yes, by making our kit/merchandise - it is an instant money maker. Know what you mean, but I thought they'd try and get someone slightly better such as Spurs (only just got Puma), Real Madrid (Don't think they would) or maybe an international. I don't really know when contracts etc. expire for sponsorships, so that may sound stupid and unrealistic to youse. Also, a question here - if say England were gonna get sponsored by Nike, what would happen to their kits because they've only recently brought out new ones. Obviously next time they are due to change the away, it would be Nike, but what would happen to the home and GKs? Would they all change together?

They wouldn't have some Umbro and some Nike at the same time. They would probably keep the same kits out for a year longer and then release them all at the same time. Or even more likely just be money grabbing and release a whole range of new kits a year or so after the last set of new ones. With regards to being a big club to attract a big sponsor. Hearts got a kit deal with Umbro recently, we are by no means a huge or even large club, but we will make Umbro money as our kits will be over the news all the time, very good bit of business for them and the biggest kit deal in our history. -------------------
