To expand on my previous point, against Man United we're always going to have less possession, we're not a possession based side, and against the bigger sides we struggle to keep the ball. We need to get the ball forward at a fast tempo while exploiting the wings, so I hope we don't go 4-5-1 and try and compete with them. Their weaknesses are clearly in the air when Vidic isn't playing, I mean Shola terrorised them last season and he's Shola. Just get the ball booted up and get Hatem moving off the front two as much as possible. I'd be tempted to start Shola, he's great in the air and just keeps getting better with age, you know what you'll get from him, as opposed to the erratic Cisse. Ferguson does deserve a start, but for me it shouldn't be against Man United, Gutierrez is invaluable against the big teams. Can't see how Williamson and Perch (Steven Taylor has a late fitness test) could possibly keep Man United at bay for an entire match.

Not that it will mean anything, but didn't Man Utd lose at home 3-2 the match before this fixture last season as well?

I've got a horrible feeling we're going to lose by a couple of goals tomorrow, I reckon Ba is going to tear our defence apart if they play anything like they did last week against Spurs.
