Make sure you've got the latest version of Sopcast and then download VLC Media Player. Install them both and go into the options of Sopcast, click on General and tick 'use my own media player'. Find the .exe for VLC (should be "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe"), apply and click ok. That's the set-up I use and it works a treat.

When you want to watch a match, head over to http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?part=sports&discipline=football and find the game you want. Filter Sopcast links and >1200 kbps bit rate - play now and Sopcast should open. Once it connects to the channel, click on the button on the far-left (next to full-screen, it'll open it in VLC). When VLC is open, you should be watching a stream as good as you'd get on the telly, maybe even in HD.

Some channels might be offline when you first click on them so you'll have to find another stream, and streams with over 1200 kbps bit rate aren't always there, but basically, the higher the bit rate, the better the stream.

This guy has the best Sopcast streams you can find. He streams most big games and he's a Spurs fan so you're guaranteed to get a good stream if you're playing Spurs.
