I know you're inclined to defend him because he used to play for Swansea and he now plays for Liverpool but don't spout shite. Mulumbu totally dominated him and Lucas today.

Anyway if you didn't see most of the game cos your stream went, how'd you know how well he did?

Shame, that's him out for 3 hugely important games that could either see us starting well or us in the bottom 3 early on. I'll check out our clips from Match of the Day anyway, see if I can find anything positive to chant about.

Mulumbu was fantastic today, can see why wba_4_eva has a mancrush on him. Take into consideration that Lucas was rusty but he outplayed him like I've never seen

And sorry but Allen didn't dominate anything. Can't fault his passing but nothing else. Obviously gonna be sensitive over him after all the championing you did for his signing but don't go and give him outlandish praise.I think Agger's only banned for one game btw.

PEStar don't you know that every player wants to join Arsenal and the only way players will leave Arsenal to join teams like United, Chelsea, City and Barcelona is because of money and nothing to do with success

Sterling and Brendan were pretty quick to comment on him too. He was great considering it was his first game, and a bloody tough one at that. No trouble settling in at all. Tbh he was the only player who did alright today for us. Lucas was ok too.

Surely, those arent that valid points, apart from the times where Arsenal challenged for the title and won it, you are in the same position we are, on the decline. As good as being in the champions league for a very long successive run, you havent won it. Plus making it into the top 4 is important but you cant put top 4 positions in your trophy cabinet.

Champions League football would probably be a bigger draw for him personally, but one of his main objective is playing first team football as his career has been stalled for a bit with lack of chances at Real Madrid.

If anything Arsenal are in the early stages of what liverpool are going through right now, selling your best players such as RVP, Song, Fabregas, Nasri, Henry etc. And your top 4 place being in jeopardy with teams such as Newcastle, Tottenham getting closer to you.

That being said, Sahin will most likely join you, if he has postponed his decision, now that song has gone you would probably use him more

the thing about arsenal, they know how to replace their players. you haven't been able to replace alonso, torres and mascherano (though maybe lucas is pretty close). even when arsenal lost their best players, they were constantly challenging for the top 4. the reason why they failed to win the title is probably due to the fact they don't spend nearly as much as man utd/ man city/ chelsea. wouldn't say arsenal is on decline, it's just that other teams are able to spend more, hence more quality players

Yeah. But why though? It's not like we haven't made bad purchases, is it because Rafa got sacked and the whole chemistry got messed up? Even now when I think of Gerrard I think of the player he USED to be. I don't associate him with being as good as he used to. Might be age, but I think it's Liverpool just getting worse.
