Great half of football, played some really nice stuff.

Cazorla is such a classy player, some of his passes and touches - particularly those in and around the box - were sublime. Nice to see a player that doesn't collapse when pressure is applied to them as well, however I did feel that early on in the half he went for the spectacular, 'Hollywood' pass when he had the ball deeper too often, despite there being better options closer to him.

I was impressed with Giroud's hold-up and link-up play, doesn't look afraid to shoot either, so he looks better than Chamakh already. On another day with another 'keeper he might of scored two or three, he forced some good saves. I do feel that he should use his right-foot more though, reckon he would've scored if he did a few times.

Podolski didn't really do much apart from score twice, so I can't really complain. Worked hard on the left before coming and wandering around looking lost in central midfield, good link-up play with Gibbs for his second though.

Apart from that miss, Gervinho looked like *bleep*ing Messi today. And I used to hate Gervinho. Now I'll be calling him Messi.

Well he did score a brace against Koln I think but he wasn't nearly as impressive as in this pre-season. I certainly don't expect him to do those things against most premier league teams but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a much better second season.
Seriously need to ship out Chamakh though. And Van Persie coming on was strange, maybe I'm reading too much into it but it didn't really feel like he was there, did it?

Thanks for the stream guys. Loved the game. Looked very strong. Van Persie was booed when he got the ball lol.
