	Personally I think Suarez is a superb player, but there's quite a few strikers I'd prefer over him simply because they score more goals than him. Anyways Bollo our defence? I don't get it. Our strongest point over the last 6/7 years in our team yet one poor season under AVB and it's suddenly a massive weak point. I don't see it. Yes our players, such as Cole and Terry are getting on a bit, but they're still better than quite a few players in their positions. Cahill is coming along nicely and Ivanovic is a great right back .. David Luiz is questionable at times, but performances such as the one against Napoli at home show he's capable. The only other question mark over our defence is possibly the back-up incase we have quite a few injuries occur. Our attack will have to gel, but once it gels then I can see it being very strong. It's just a question of how long it may take to gel. Also, who could really replace Drogba that well? Semi final and 2 quarter finals in the last decade in it as well to be fair, suppose I meant the more recent years, when before Boro and Fulham bucked the trend we seemed to be the only consistent performers and we've won an Intertoto Cup ------------------- Hero.

	I wish we were still considered a CL team. Fair enough though if you didn't mean it as arrogantly as it sounded. 	Suarez is a great player but he's a absolute dogshite finisher, no way he be high in any kind of striker lists when he needs 7/8 chances for every goal he scores.

	First of all, I said forward, not striker. Second of all, he's not a dogshite finisher at all. Whilst he's not what you'd consider a natural finisher, he can definitely score goals. And third of all, it's 'thank you'.

	I hope he takes it seriously, I'd much rather go and watch us play some decent European teams in the k/o rather than putting up with bleeping Shamrock Rovers and then going out. Spose it all hinges on whether we can replace Modric and get Ade + another striker in. Clearly he rates Kane, Carroll and Townsend enough to keep them here, perhaps for the EL, probably the same with Jenas and Bentley (as sad a day as it is). I think with his management it wouldn't threaten our season as much as HR used to make out it would, nor as much as it has the potential to derail a team like Newcastle's season. Has Pardew ever managed a European team before? Expect Newcastle to take a decent crack at it tho. 1st k/o round minimum provided they don't get the shittest draw, are they one of the lower seeds? Seeding I believe is done via UEFA ranking points, so you will likely be higher, given that as far as I'm aware, they only take into account the previous five seasons, and it's that many since we were even in Europe, not taking into account we haven't even had all five seasons in the Premier League either. Method of qualification only affects which round of the competition you enter. Liverpool will have two qualifying rounds, Newcastle one, and Tottenham will go straight into the group stages. ------------------- Digital Portfolio
