That's what the lad thinks. Said nothing has been done yet though.

Someone on Twitter said yesterday or the day before that Moyes needs to raise £8m, anything more than that is what he can spend on transfers. If it's true it's an absolute joke, the club is run by morons.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it were true, wasn't it all the £10m that Arsenal paid for Arteta that went to the bank? The sale just came out of nowhere and was a fair price for Arsenal (Which we know Moyes/Kenwright isn't fond of), albeit he had only just started hitting form again off a massive spell of poor games.

And theres no way we're paying £18m for Baines...unless a good third of that £18m is performance clauses like Baines scores the winning goal in the Champions League Final, FA Cup Final etc etc.

And in case anyones wondering Baines seems to split the fanbase...one half sees him as a good alternative to Evra whos been probably playing 50 games a season on average since hes hardly injured (which I'm in) and the other half sees him as a "waste of money" and "£18m for a free kick"
