No, I said in a comparable market. If Naismith is worth £4m, IN THE SPL, then Hooper is worth £10m.

It is nonsense to talk about a comparable market as such a thing cannot exist. For example, players such as Kevin Nolan and Shaun Maloney are older players while Naismith is young with potential, it isn't fair to compare those players.

"Younger" Players are always a bit more expensive if they look like they'll be something better in the future, but Naismith has hardly become the best young player in Scotland after joining Rangers has he? *bleep*ing hell, Rangers have better young players themselves.


Seriously, the both of you, go back to my point about an SPL player succeeding in England, properly. Then we can deem how good and valuable they really are.

Stop repeating this nonsense. It isn't helping you at all. There are actually plenty of SPL players who have succeeded in England. There are even some who have succeeded at even higher levels. Van Bronckhorst and Larsson come to mind.

Happened to contain the statue? You make it sound like it was just in the background. Surely using a memorial statue in any sense other than what it was intended for is disrespectful? Seeing as almost everyone commenting has not seen the "offensive" photo, mock outrage is exaclty what it is.
