	I wanted Portugal to win because they might nick something with Ronaldo whereas the Czechs would have just been rolled over by Spain. They had to play them first and then started off with a loss. That makes it harder for them to get out of the group. What am I missing that makes that easy for them? Germany didn't concede two against Denmark. lol, so? They didn't score 3 either. They also only won by a goal. They had the same difficulties breaking them down. They still needed a late winner like Portugal. Denmark would have probably made it out of every other group with the performances they put in, but regardless of that, how would it be having it easy if they had to struggle to beat them? Is Denmark supposed to be shit? The evidence you're providing isn't even wrong, but it's proving the opposite of what you're insinuating. Got out of the toughest group in the tournament when hardly anyone thought they would now they're having it easy cause they played the Czechs in the quarters. Edit - If you mean to say they haven't been that impressive that's another thing. But your argument for them having it is foolish.

Aye, the group was difficult, no doubts about it, but the way the fixtures fell helped out no end (as opposed to Denmark needing a result from Germany, say). I said clearly it might be being harsh, but since the Germany opener it's been the weakest team in the group, a Holland who had to push forward and leave spaces, and then a Czech team who looked satisfied with a 1-0 defeat. 	Completely disagree with Djedward, personally feel these competitions are normally about momentum and losing the first game can make it extremely difficult. Denmark beating Holland made the 2nd game even more difficult for Portugal because it was do or die for them, Denmark would obviously target the Portugal game as opposed to the Germany game in order to try and get qualification almost guaranteed before having to face Germany, so it's a cup final type scenario in the 2nd game against a team that outperformed them in the qualifiers. Portugal went 2 up and yes they threw away that lead but having the ability to come back and win it again at the death was huge because think of how different the group would look at Portugal 1 point, Denmark 4 points going into the final game? The Czechs are just poor but I heard plenty bandied about that Portugal were a better side sitting back and hitting a team on the counter and weren't any good at breaking down a side but they showed tonight they can actually create plenty but finishing was a problem today. I've been impressed with them, average in some areas but Moutinho has been brilliant, Ronaldo in the past 2 games is amazing and a game changer and Pepe and Coentrao at the back are excellent as well. They're a very good side imo who have grown into the tournament and could give Spain a shock and if it's France they end up facing I'd expect to see them in the final. ------------------- Don't ever let anyone tell you you deserve that...

	Having it easy would be not having to play Germany at all, and I reiterate, probably having to start off the tournament with 0 points is a setback. They received some fortune in that they had to play an opened up Holland side, but I still don't see that as having it easy especially as Holland struck early which could have easily overwhelmed them, and your point about playing the weakest team next is still looking over the fact that it was Denmark. If they struggled to beat them that's more of a reflection of how they performed than the degree of difficulty in the fixture. I'll concede they had it easy with the Czech Republic today, especially since they got away with putting in their worst performance so far, and that's the point in your argument I can easily understand what with Germany and Portugal getting let off playing teams they would be clear favourites against, but those fixtures were the prize the Group B teams got for advancing imo. I'd say every single Group A team had it easier getting placed into that group. At risk of sounding biased I think they're worthy semi-finalists and any fortune they have received through luck of the draw or other circumstances isn't that much more than any other team still in it.

	I really hate Ronaldo but there's been something different about him at this tournament, from the Holland game onwards. He knows this could really be his year and you can see his desire. Seems like he has a bit of fight about him, which I don't think I've ever really seen.
