I was more hoping for Poborsky and Nedved to turn up and score a couple of screams to be fair.

I think I was probably blinded by the fondness I gained for them during Euro 2004, the only time I've seen them recently was the game against the Scots when they got a spawny penalty, I probably should've taken that as a warning that they're not what they were.

England aren't even playing and they still find it possible to mention Rooney. *bleep* off.

In the quarter-finals they will probably come out against either Germany or Netherlands (i don't have much faith in Portugal), so it's gonna be really tough for them...Still one of the most talented squads in Europe right now.

Not sure yet, probably Germany. I have a bad feeling about them, like they do England, they always knock out Holland.


I've got a really strong feeling that Portugal will go through, and my strong feelings haven't been far off at all this season (obviously nothing close to concrete but my gut instinct hasn't led me wrong yet this year)

Still is strange to see Vieira and Keane next to one and other.
