My dog's been off on holiday with the parents all week. Would have been the perfect excuse to get out for an hour or so every night.

Currently sat out on the balcony with some motley homedawgs all stocked up with beers, bud and a barbecue. Wish I'd put stronger suncream on though cos I'm looking redder than the devil's cock atm. Got a McDonalds just opposite us n'all so, as we're blaring out the K-Rose soundtrack over the speakers, we're getting some reasonably interdasting comments from a few of the neds sat outside.

Most trainers will run a horse 3 times to get a handicap on it, make it shit the 3 times. Then prepare it properly for the next run out, get a decent price and make it worthwhile to back.

Doesn't always work out. We have a few decent tipsters in our bookies, gave me a 14/1 winner yesterday.

Knows a stable boy at Hendersons yard, someone at another as well. They normally know when a horse is being prepared properly for a race.
