Apparently RDM could give Bertrand the chance down the left because he's likely to help out defensively unlike someone like Sturridge. I think we're going to retain the 4-5-1 for this game and with Gustavo out .. There's every chance Mata could have a bit more space.

It's important we attack the full backs because Ribery and Robben don't really track back which could work in our favour. I fancy Drogba against their defence too, but then again I fancy Gomez to do well against us.

Looking at that list, hardly any teams have even had the chance to win it in their own stadium. Most of them hosts didn't reach the final that year.

Been called in for a short notice shift at work tonight so I'm going to end up missing this with the exception of maybe catching the score every now and then. Can't be any worse than missing Barca's thrashing of Leverkusen earlier in the season though. Every time I walked back into the other room Messi had scored again. I don't really care about missing the game tonight though, although I do hope that Bayern will make up for the last time I supported them in a Champions League final...
