Diarra + cash is just lazy journalism. Don't believe it for a second.

Don't think Cabaye's necessary either. If Modric leaves, I'm sure we'll look for a replacement, but even failing that we still have depth in central midfield. Admittedly 3 of our 4 our defense minded, but Hudd will be like a new signing. Plus, Newcastle will stick something ridiculous on Cabaye's head. I wouldn't be against us looking at Ganso. Will score more goals for sure and should continue to improve.

Vertonghen deal is progressing. Levy was in Amsterdam today. Ajax are asking for more than he's worth giving the circumstance, sure they're holding out for £14m not £12m.

Another adept signing from what I've heard, loyal at Lille now hungry to move on. Santon staying on the left is fine as well, he's good enough on the ball to cut inside. Probably spells the end of Simpson though, between Ferguson, Raylor, Perch and Gutierrez we have enough full-back cover. Saying that though I wouldn't be averse to a left-back coming in, strictly as back up though.

Why the frig are we going back for Miyaichi? Ok he'd probably do better in the Championship but we've got Lee, Petrov and Eagles which is enough for the Championship, they'd all probably be ahead of him in the pecking order too.
