	I thought this 'Bebe transfer to Utd being investigated' was more about the club we bought him from (Vitoria) being investigated for their own dodgy transfer activity and it was just the rags distorting the story for shock/scandal value as how else are they going to sell papers. -------------------

	Newcastle fans, it's in L'Equipe that Debuchy won't leave Lille for less than €8M. To be honest, I wasn't expecting the figure to be much lower anyway.

We've had several poor defeats this season, which has contributed most towards our relatively poor goal difference. 0-3 versus Chelsea (although we did lose both central defenders over the course of the match) 4-2 versus Norwich (although admittedly with no central defenders) 5-2 versus Fulham 5-0 versus Tottenham (where Pardew's comment is particularly appropriate) 4-0 versus Wigan. Helped greatly by shit management and shit defending but by being open against us you turned 2 points into 6. Playing tighter away from home when we bought off Muamba to go more attacking (bleep Coyle) would have led to most likely 1 point rather than the 3 you got. ------------------- Four for you, Glen Coco. 	Rumours that we have tied up a deal already. Had my doubts at first, but he has been good this season. And if Park is leaving then we do need a replacement for the Asian market.

	You don't need him though. You need a deep lying playmaker, not an attacking midfielder that'll get in the way of Rooney. Mind you, if you got them interchanging...

	Yeah, but if he is available for the cheap fee being touted (like £12million) he would be a good addition to try and take some of the pressure off Rooney to do everything. I would much rather see us buy someone to play further back though. And someone who boss midfields (aka a big African ) Welbeck Nani - Rooney - Valencia Deep Creator - Destroyer New LB - Rio - Vidic - New RB DDG Would allow us to have a strong bench compiled from Evra, Smalling, Young, Cleverley, Carrick, Hernandez etc..

	To make those signings you'll need to spend big, and I can't see you doing that. The players that have been brought up as United targets are in other areas as well, in Kagawa and Hazard.
