if he did carry on playing though i'd be all for it all the same, rotating the backline would be a negative but he'd offer leadership and stability to the backline more than anyone as per

edit: i think brad got a 1 year deal but the contracts we give players give them an auto 1 or 2 year add on after reaching such an amount of games, so kinda yeah 1(+1) rather than two outright

I think we need to bring in another centre half. Gallas is too old, Dawson is going the way of Ledley at this rate and Nelsen is a shite *bleep*. Keep Caulker out at Swansea til January then bring him back and start playing him in the PL when he get into the latter stages of the CL and squad rotation is required... (yeah.. I know.. )

If Valero comes back then theres a better chance Reina will stay too. He's really suffered since Valero went.
