Log in to remove this advertisement Man Utd Spoiler:Goalkeepers David De Gea - came in with a massive pricetag and hype, probably as somewhat predicted had an uneasy start...even since the New Year and the Gaard's injury he's been very solid indeed. Bulking up seems to have worked as well - 7.5/10 Anders Lindegaard - the under-the-radar buy of last year, looked pretty decent when called upon, didn't put too much wrong either - 7/10 Ben Amos - kept a clean sheet against a shite Stoke away side. adam_OAFC's favourite player ever 6/10Tomasz Kuszczak - don't understand why he didn't leave in the summer or in January. A decent goalkeeper...not at all shit - N/A Spoiler:Defence Nemanja Vidic - HUGE loss.. started to really miss him around April time. Hopefully the injury hasn't let him up in anyway - N/A Rio Ferdinand - got pelters of 'past it' in 2011 but has pulled it around and looks like his old self again. I hope he retires from internationals so he can squeeze out the reminder of his quality with us. Calmest head on the pitch - 8/10 Patrice Evra - feels like hes played every Utd game going since 2008. Maybe age is finally catching up to him. Brilliant defensively, great getting forward...never good at crossing though haha - 8/10 Jonny Evans - MASSIVE improvement! Looks like hes found his 08/09 form. Please keep it up! Apparantly switching to a different side of central defence has been the catalyst to this resurgence in form - 8/10 Chris Smalling - Looks to have picked up from where he left off last season. He's still young and inexperienced so expect some mistakes here and there. Got injured a lot in mid-season. Ultimately being groomed to be Rio's heir - 7/10 Phil Jones - Looked awesome at the start of the season but has slowly faded away. Tons of potential to be the best centre-back in the world. Got injured a lot in mid-season. Ultimately being groomed to be Vidic's heir - 6.5/10 Rafael da Silva - Great going forward...Slowly improving defensively. He's still a *bleep*ing hothead and a short fuse and prone to a lapse in concentration. Hope he harnasses his aggression for his own good - 7.5/10 Fabio da Silva - Great going forward...Still not defensively sharp. Much calmer than his twin. Hopefully will benefit from playing at Benfica next season - 6/10 Spoiler:Midfield Michael Carrick - playing like his 2006-2008 self again. Awesome at sitting infront of the back four, dictating play and spraying passes. Wish I could see more of him getting forward since hes a pretty good dribbler. Needs a good central midfielder with him - 9/10 Paul Scholes - looked awesome considering his situation when coming out of retirement. Wish he was 10 years younger to be honest. I hope he's used bit-part IF he stays on though - 8/10 Anderson - injured again, struck up a flash in the pan good partnership with Cleverley but faded away in form and injuries. I think his current injury has bought him another season to shape up - 6.5/10 Tom Cleverley - rode in on a tidal-wave of 'who needs Sneijder and Modric when we have this guy?!'. got a pretty bad injury, rushed back, injured again...probably get more opportunities next seasons - 6.5/10 Darren Fletcher - sad situation concerning his medical condition, explains his dip in form over the past 18 months too. Hope he gets better very soon - N/A Ryan Giggs - same old, same old from him. Still pulls out those special moments and great performances every once in a while - 7.5/10 Paul Pogba - bright brief moments, looks like he's off...wish him well - N/A Spoiler:Wingers Antonio Valencia - majestic, amazing at crossing, amazing upper body strength, amazing pace...probably our player of the season. If his left foot was as good as his right foot then he would *bleep*ing amazing - 9.5/10 Nani - picked off where he left off...nice to see him balance out the skill with the actual football now. Still tries to score from 30 yards out though - 8/10 Ashley Young - Finally! Someone who can take decent corners and threaten from set-pieces! Brilliant right foot shot in him. Good versatility. Don't like his diving though..otherwise another fine addition to the squad - 8/10 Ji-Sung Park - Mr. Big Game sadly is losing his touch. I think he'll be sold in the summer. Great stamina, great movement...if he had decent finishing ability he'd be amazing - 7/10 Spoiler:Forwards Wayne Rooney - Probably still our most talented players, great goal return this season... I don't think he had too much time off through injury either which is a bonus - 9.5/10 Dimitar Berbatov - I feel he should have been loaned out or moved on in January for his own good as it saddens me to see him not get used at all. Had a very good cameo period at the mid-point in the season. I hope he moves on the summer because I still think he can offer a lot to a good team - 7/10 Danny Welbeck - Improved a lot since his loan spell at Sunderland. Starting to live up to the potential he had tagged on him five years ago. I love his footwork and physicality despite his leanish figure. Reminds me of Andy Cole - 8/10 Chicharito - I think hes got a bit of Second Season Syndrome this season. Injury didn't help either as well as Welbeck's rise. Still ruthless infront of goal and a brilliant buy considering his price. Here's hoping the Mexican F.Inzaghi refinds his true form next season! - 7.5/10 Michael Owen - 3 in 4 games all season...clinical. Think hes off in the summer. Wouldn't be surprised if he packed it in all together. He's got his post-football career all set up - N/A ------------------- ![]()

Bolton *Warning High Road - may contain traces of Jaaskelainen*
Spoiler:Goalkeepers Jussi Jaaskelainen - Nowhere near as good as he used to be, that said since we got rid of Taylor the fans needed a new scapegoat for the season. It appears Jussi took some of the brunt of that. Still had monster games like Spurs away though. 5.5 Adam Bogdan - Stepped up to the plate well, bit of a shite start for him with his first games being Chelsea and United iirc. Had a decent number of monster games like Spurs away (is it groundhog day again?) and United away, unlucky with some things like the Tim Howard game. Had a few dodgy games like Blackburn at home and I'm not 100% convinced about his catching, although at least he comes for crosses. 6.5 Spoiler:Defenders Gary Cahill - Pretty disappointing start for him tbh, didn't make many tackles in the first 3 months (iirc it was about 8 in November). Still one of our better players this season though. 6.5 Zat Knight - You know that sharp intake of breath you take when you see a rough tackle or car accident? I don't know how to spell it. 3 David Wheater - Dave came in frequently after we sold Cahill, and after looking the better of the pairing with youn Zatiah, played much more. People forget he's still only about 24, in his first full Premier League season for a while. A little raw but I reckon he'll improve in time. Not amazing but not great. 6 Rim Team - Great signing imo, plays well in the centre or at left back (covering obv). Settling into English football nicely, would like to comment much further when he's had a full season under his belt (the wba_4_eva rule). 6.5 Dedryck Boyata - Nearly forgot about you, you rascal. He's shite. He can go back to City cos he clearly cba here. Still better than Knight though. 3.5 Paul Robinson - There's a reason we sent him on loan to Leeds. 3.5 Marcos Alonso - Not played a whole lot, not impressed that much when he did. Still better than Robbo though. Avoids making tackles like he avoids court dates. 4 Gretar Steinsson - Gets a lot more stick than he should do. Gets caught out of position a few times (like most fullbacks) but generally not too bad compared to some of our other defenders. 5.5 Sam Ricketts - Now Gaz Caz has gone he's definitely our best defender and we need to tie him down (n/h) asap. We've looked a lot more solid at the back (not hard tbf) since he came back from injury. 6.5 Tyrone Mears - Broke his leg and was never heard from again. N/A Spoiler:Midfielders Nigel Reo Coker - Our best new signing, my player of the year so far. Usually solid, does his job well and leads the team tremendously. Only a matter of time before he's our club captain. 7 Mark Davies - Probably our best attacking threat this season. Very, very good dribbler, shame he's often without support and forced into running into defenders. Not too sure he fits either system though. 6 Fabrice Muamba - Top man, damn shame what happened in March. We win or draw with Muamba and lose when he's removed from the team. Fantastic at tracking back, winning the ball and hounding attackers. We'll not say much about when he gets the ball though. 6.5 Darren Pratley - You know that noise I can't spell? It applies here as well. Scored a few so goes ahead of Knight. 3.5 Chris Eagles - When he's good, he's usually very dangerous and scores or assists a lot of our goals. When he's shite he's *bleep*ing awful and looks disinterested. 5.5 Martin Petrov - See Eagles but since January he's been churning out more top performances than usual. Probably our most talented player when he can be bothered. 6 Ryo Miyaichi - Good loan signing, his lightweightedness can be shown up in some matches. When it is he's pretty useless to us. Still one of our more positive players in his running, not a bad signing overall. 5.5 Sean Davis - Got injured 20 months ago and nobody heard from him since. N/A Lee Chung Yong - See Mears. Except there's more heartbreak in this one cos Lee's one of our best players. N/A Stu Holden - See Chung Yong. Except there's even more heartbreak in this one cos he's our best player. N/A Spoiler:Attackers Ivan Klasnic - Started well, scored quite a few. Think he's still our top scorer. Used less as the season went on and we played one up top. Still can come on and score from the bench though. 6.5 SKD - Gotta say, I thought Father Time was catching up to him this season. Lost effectiveness in the first half of the season but nothing can overcome him when he's fighting his arse off like he did in the last few appearances he made. Used sparingly he can still be a real gem. 5.5 David Ngog - Not a bad first season here in all honesty. He was useless in the 4-4-2 at the start of the season. Holds the ball up well playing the lone striker. Only scored 3 but we won in all of them matches, and he's been unlucky not to score more tbh. 6 Tuncay - Remember that noise again? Terrible this season and had an awful attitude. Glad he *bleep*ed off back to Germany. 3 Marvin Sordell - Not seen anything of him this season but I hear he's great at keeping pine warm. N/A Robbie Blake - lol forgot you were here. N/A

Spoiler:GK Krul - Bloody brilliant, one player I really don't want to lose - 9/10 Spoiler:DF Ryan Taylor - Forever remembered for that goal. Suspect defensively, good going forward though, more of a midfielder, loves the club, always 100% effort - 7/10 Simpson - Improved as the season has gone on. Still a bit of a liability defensively, think we'll buy a LB in the summer and move Santon to right back, Simpson could leave - 7/10 Coloccini - Impeccable, could count his below par games on one hand - 9.5/10 Williamson - Appreciate his effort, shouldn't be 3rd choice CB at a club challenging for Europe though - 6/10 Steven Taylor - Brilliant up until his injury, real shame - 9/10 Santon - Going forward, magnificent, can get a bit sloppy defensively, for his first season though, couldn't ask for more really - 8/10 Perch - Laughing stock to cult hero - 8/10 Spoiler:MF Cabaye - Another one who has improved as the season has gone on, plays far better further up the pitch for me, learned how to dictate games far better, our goal of the season vs Man United - 8.5/10 Tiote - Started slow, then has been our best midfielder for me, absolute giant in the middle, passing improved as well - 9/10 Gutierrez - Most under-appreciated member of our team, work rate he offers in contrast to Ben Arfa's magic is invaluable - 8/10 Guthrie - Can't complain when he plays, great passer of the ball, happy to have him - 7/10 Gosling - Doesn't seem to be happening for him if I'm honest, needs regular game time, maybe a loan next year? - 6/10 Marveaux - Sparkled brightly in his few appearances, Beardsley bigging him up massively the other day - 7/10 Obertan - Frustrating, looks to have all the pace in the world, just unsure what to do with it. Still better than some people would have you think, great outlet on the counter - 6.5/10 Sammy Ameobi - Very hit and miss, feel like the fact he's Shola's brother clouds some people's judgement - 5.5/10 Vuckic - Hell of a shot on him, hopefully introduced more next season, still a bright prospect - 6/10 Ferguson - Under-used this season, another good prospect, always looks bright coming off the bench - 6.5/10 Spoiler:ST Ba - Undoubtedly came off the boil a bit, but not at the expense of the team, shows what kind of player he is. First half of the season a little too easily forgotten at the minute - 9/10 Cisse - Can't fault him since joining, perfect, love him - 10/10 Ben Arfa - A changed man since the derby, really nailed his position, one of the few players in world football who can go past players at will, scored 2 of our greatest ever goals this year as well - Before derby - 6.5/10 - After derby - 9.5/10 Best - Proved to be a really good player, also got valuable goals (both in 2-1 vs Fulham, winner vs QPR, and equaliser at Villa) that have basically won us 7 points by himself - 7/10 Shola Ameobi - Unfortunately not much used this season, but terrorised Man United with Demba, and came up with 2 massive goals when we really needed them, great presence when introduced late on, not hear a bad word said about the man - 7.5/10 Lovenkrands - Not happened for him this season, still, another whose effort can't be faulted - 6/10 ------------------- ![]() Hero.

Spoiler:I've just spoilered them all in together. Best to worst. Nigel Reo Coker - Best (fit) player we have at the club. Captain fantastic. We'd have less points than Wolves without him. 8 Martin Petrov - Most improved player this season. Very happy with him. 7.5 Adam Bogdan - Done very well despite a few big errors. Will be #1 for the next ten years unless he decides to leave. 7.5 Mark Davies - Improved. Still inconsistent. 7 Sam Ricketts - Done well coming back from injury. 6.5 Rim Team - Definitely got a few weaknesses but as far as expectations for a young lad who's never played at a top level, he's done well. 6.5 David Wheater - Match winning/saving in some games. Worse than Knight in others. 6.5 Fabrice Muamba - Was statistically our most important player (wins wise) before he got injured. 6.5 Ivan Klasnic - Goals win games. He's a lazy *bleep*er but we'd already be down now without his goals. 6.5 Gary Cahill - Did alrite, probably our best defender but not really good enough to make up for others unlike he was in past seasons. Got his big move and done well- very happy for him. 6.5 Chris Eagles - Inconsistent but he's scored goals when it's mattered. Very good value for 1.5m. 6 Gretar Steinsson - Crap player but he's shown plenty of fight to keep getting back in the team when Coyle wrote him off. Deserves credit for that. All these mystery 'illnesses' are a slight concern. 6 SKD - Pulled it out of the bag when it matters. Deservedly dropped earlier in the season though. 6 Joe Riley- Just thought I'd include him because I think it's underplayed just how much of an achievement it is for him and the club to FINALLY bring a player through the youth academy. He's been here longer than SKD Since 2001 as an 11 year old. 6Ryo Miyaichi - Started quite well but he basically does the same thing every time he gets the ball. Not very good. 5.5 David Ngog - I don't really like him. He's had a few good games though. Can hold a ball up. Is pants in front of goal. 5.5 Jussi Jaaskelainen - Not good enough. Deserved to lose his place. Doesn't really deserve a new contract. 5.5 Zat Knight - Not very good but he does get scapegoated abit. Deserved to lose his place too. 5 Darren Pratley - lol. I'll give him a bit of credit for improving...a bit. 4 Marcos Alonso - Shite apart from Blackburn. 3.5 Dedryck Boyata - Arse & Shite. 3 Paul Robinson - Shite. 3 Marvin Sordell- Not really his fault. But he must be awful. Doesn't strike me as being arsed about the club either. He's also the most boring twat on twitter, and for that he gets a... 2 Tuncay - Friggin awful. 1 ------------------- Mourinho: "I think people should stop criticizing Bolton's direct style of football. Other than Josh and Mike you rate your players highly D8. EDIT: Thank you jimbo.
Spoiler:GK Robert Green - 8/10. Started coming for crosses for once without making a balls of it. One of the top keepers in the league this season. Stephen Henderson - N/A - Forgot you were here, why are you even here? Manuel Almunia - 6/10. Did well in his loan spell especially against Brighton. Ruud Boffin/Marek Stech/Peter Kurucz - N/A Spoiler:DF Linda McCartney 6/10 - Not very adventurous but always plays a steady defensive performance. Can come back next year. Abdoulaye Faye - 9/10 - Has a sore head from heading the ball away, man's a machine. James Tomkins - 7/10 - Tomka been brilliant this season, deserves his TOTY place. Wintson Reid - 5/10 - Suspectical at time, but will remember his goal against the Millwall. Danny Collins - 6/10 - used to hoof football now, last minute winner vs Leeds. Worth signing permanently Joey O'Brien - 7/10 - another steady defender, overlaps quite well with whoever on the right wing. Scored a messi run vs Watford demolition. Mad Hair. Guy Demel - 5/10 - Barely played, runs a lot, took 9 months to be fit, shit header vs Hull, black. Dan Potts - 7/10 - Thrown in the deep end a few times this season around winter, looks to be a good prospect. Julian Faubert - 4/10 - Sick of you now mate, go back to France. Spoiler:MF Kevin Nolan - 8/10 - Scored vital goals, shouts a lot, definite leader qualities, wish he could be accomodated easier though. Taken a lot of stick. Mark Noble - 7.5/10 - Best peno taker in Britain. Can't take corners or free kicks though. Deft chip vs Barnsley. Jack Collison - 5/10 - Took a while to get back to speed coming back from injury, finally found his form with a 25 yard hit vs Leicster. Matty Taylor - 6/10 - injured a lot, shows signs of quality but missing something out of his game. Gary o'Neil - 4/10 - Horse shit. Ravel Morrison - 10/10 - Called someone a *bleep* on twitter = instant hero. Papa Bouba Diop - 6/10 - played here and there this season, fairly solid defensive mid. Henri Lansbury - 7/10 - Should be played more, very creative lad and a half decent keeper. Spoiler:FW John Carew - 4/10 - When we sing "Gonna score one or two" we didn't mean over the course of the season D: Carlton Cole - 6/10 - Still plays like a donkey, just in a shitter league. Sam Baldock - 7/10 - Great natural finisher with pace about him, not used much in the second half of the season. Nicky Maynard - 5/10 - Most disappointing Ricardo Vaz Te - 10/10 - Makes Messi look shite. 10 goals in 14 appearances on the wing. Hero. Bryan Montengero - N/A - Pointless signing, has similar name to my previous manager in work, ------------------- (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ![]() ![]()

Spoiler:GK Fraser Forster - 8/10. I wasn't too happy when we re-signed at the start of the season, but he's completely won me over with some great games, Udinese away especially. Should definitely be signed. Lukasz Zaluska - 6/10. Has shown he's good back-up and happy enough to be that given he just signed a new deal. Can't really recall him making that big of blunder which is a surprise. Spoiler:DF Cha Du Ri- 4/10. A pretty poor defender, average at best going forward and is prone to the odd mistake, like in Rennes. Gone in the summer I hope. Mark Wilson - 3/10. Shame that injuries meant he only played a handful of games. Contract's up so he's away. Adam Matthews - 8/10. Very impressive debut season and a real bargain at £200k. Should be interesting to see him and Lustig battle for RB. Mikael Lustig - 5/10. Only played a couple of times after joining in January, but looked decent in them. Emilio Izaguirre - 5/10. Injured right at the start of the season and only now getting back to fitness. His display at the weekend shows how much he offers us when fit. Badr El Kaddouri - 3/10. Signed on a short loan deal to cover at LB. Good debut, shite after that. Left in January. Charlie Mulgrew - 10/10. Player of the Year. Can't believe how much he's improved. Daniel Majstorovic - 5/10. Highlight of the season was his face caving in at St Johnstone. Should be released. Thomas Rogne - 7.5/10. Shame that he's injured every month or so. Still young and great when he's fit. Glenn Loovens - 6/10. Generally awful but has found some form in recent weeks. Contract's up and he's on too big a wage to keep around as cover. Should be released. Kelvin Wilson - 2/10. Please *bleep* off. Andre Blackman - 1/10. Odd signing. Scored an OG in his only start. Think he's gone in the summer. Marcus Fraser - came on at half time at home to Rennes at 17 and looked very good. Hope he gets a few games next year. Spoiler:MF Beram Kayal - 6/10. Great player but his form dipped massively just before his new deal, then got injured. Hope he's back to his best next season. Ki Sung Yueng - 7/10. Huge talent, but doesn't seem to fit in to the team or the SPL style. Would sell if we get a big offer but could be very useful in Europe. Joe Ledley - 9.5/10. Honestly can't think of a bad game all season. Victor Wanyama - 9/10. Another great find and an absolute steal at £900k. Brilliant at CM, RB or CB. Can't see us holding onto him for too long. Just an awesome player, and still only 20. Kris Commons - 6/10. Poor for most of the season but has looked his old self recently. James Forrest - 8.5/10. Single handedly dragged us through games at times. Needs to be more consistent though. Scott Brown - 9/10. Won me over massively this season. Paddy McCourt - 5/10. Rarely played, but looked decent when he did. Probably gone in the summer. Dylan McGeouch - Looks a great player. Hopefully makes more first team appearances next season. Filip Twardzik - Another prospect. Loan or more sub appearances please. Efrain Juarez - N/A. Should be sold. Rabiu Ibrahim - N/A. Signed in January but hasn't featured yet. Only 21 and supposedly promising. Probably will take McCourt's place in the squad. Spoiler:ST Gary Hooper - 8/10. Form dipped too much, but still banged in the goals. Hope we can keep him. Anthony Stokes - 7/10. Decent. Keep if he's happy to be a squad player. Georgios Samaras - 7.5/10. As frustrating as ever. More consistent recently which is great. Mo Bangura - lol/10. A real mystery... Pawel Brozek - 3/10. Loaned as back-up. Won't be signed. Tony Watt - Great debut scoring twice within 5 minutes of coming on. Very promising start. Only 18. Morten Rasmussen - N/A. Will be sold if someone will take him.

Don't think its fair commenting on some of the players I haven't seen or heard much from this season, but here goes some depressing reading.
Spoiler:GK Ashdown (26 games) - Started off pretty poorly, but didn't complain when he lost his place and preformed well on his return. 6.5 Henderson (21 games) - Kept us in so many games to the point where I thought he was gonna make Ireland's Euro squad. Him sitting on the bench at WHU must beheartbreaking, but we needed the money. 8.5 Spoiler:DF Halford (43 games, 7 goals) - If anyone can find him a position and keep him interested in it then he'd be playing PL football. 8 Pearce (43 games, 2 goals) - Back at his hometown club and thrived. A real leader and a wretch to see him leave again. 9 Ben-Haim (33 games, 0 goals) - He played well for a bit, probably still play lower-Prem, but I can't get over his contract. Just *bleep* off please, you are killing us. 4 Rocha (34 games, 0 goals) - The unsung-hero who managers seem to disregard at times. I think he's absolutely vital and one of the best defenders in the league. 8.5 Mokoena (20 games, 0 goals) - Awful. Think League One may be above him. But tries hard. 4 Rekik (8 games, 0 goals) - Ridiculously composed on the ball for a 17y/o. Has a big future ahead of him but he was caught out on a fair few occasions at LB due to inexperience. 6.5 Mattock (6 games, 0 goals) - Started slowly but by the time he had played his last game we finally had balance with a real LB. Was missed. 7 Webster (3 games, 0 goals) - A England youth international, his versatility and raw ability could be important next season. Impressed Appleton and Cotterill. N/A Hreidarsson (2 games, 0 goals) - Unfortunately passed it with yet more injury set backs. Transfered to Coventry mid-way through the season. N/A Daily (2 games, 0 goals) - Was brought in for a month to help cover for Pearce's suspension. Not a bad pro, but not a Championship footballer now. N/A Magri & Grant (0 games, 0 goals) - Given squad numbers but will be very much a part of any future we have. N/A Spoiler:MF Ward (45 games, 3 goals) - Like Pearce, he loves the club and will be a shame to see him leave and this year he was well and truly grown in influence. Like Halford he needs to specialise in a position. 7.5 Norris (41 games, 7 goals) - Our joint highest scorer, his late form has been very pleasing, but has gone through stages this season where if he didn't score he wasn't contributing much at all. Goals against the Scum & Barnsley were quality though. 7 Mullins (35 games, 1 goal) - Steady and consistent as usual, I hope he gets a crack with Reading. Won me over since his pretty dreadful start replacing Diarra. 6.5 Lawrence (25 games, 0 goals) - His influence in the dressing room was more than I had imagined, but he still flattered to decieve for much of the season. 5.5 Allan (15 games, 1 goal) - West Brom have a real player here. Could develop very nicely if he broadens up a bit. 7 Thorne (15 games, 0 goals) - Another who has a bright future, his inexperience made him a little inconsistent, but reminded me of a young Carrick at times. 6.5 Etuhu (13 games, 1 goal) - Pacey, tricky and hard-working. Wish he had the time to really show us what he could do at this level. 6 Williams (6 games, 0 goals) - Has the potential to be an excellent winger. Hope he fulfils it at Fulham, as we just sorted out his ego. 6.5 Razak (3 games, 0 goals) - Didn't get the opportunities he deserved and probably wanted from his loan, but came the month with managers moving. N/A Scapuzzi (2 games, 0 goals) - Again, he probably wanted more time but he put together a little run and then he decided to go back to Man City knowing full well he could have had game time in our last two matches. Cowardly. N/A Riise (2 games, 0 goals) - Shite. Dunno what Fulham ever saw in him. Couldn't even make our bench before his month with us was over. N/A Wallace (0 games, 0 goals) - PL clubs sniffing around him. Hope to see more of him next year. N/A Spoiler:FW Kitson (34 games, 4 goals) - Oh dear. A shadow of the Reading player. Wasted here. 2.5 Varney (30 games, 6 goals) - I didn't like him when we signed him, then his performances won me around. He played very well under Whittingham and Gray before his injury and now doesn't look confident or bothered. 5.5 Futacs (30 games, 5 goals) - I think he could be quality. Hope we can build round him next season. Got great strength and first touch and scares the shit out of defenders. 8 Huseklepp (27 games, 6 goals) - Some flashes of brilliance, but still very up and down. He did give us unpredictability and a bit of guile that we missed though. 7.5 Benjani (18 games, 1 goal) - Brought by Cotterill to please fans. All it has done is make us resent his resigning. 3 Maguire (11 games, 3 goals) - Would rip League One apart. Successful loan and a very talented footballer who also works hard. 8 Kanu (11 games, 1 goal) - Hasn't played since October and should retire for everyone's sake. 3.5 Harris (5 games, 0 goals) - Was scoring some ridiculous goals for our academy and is clearly highly rated. Needs to improve his stamina though. But still very young. 6 Spoiler:Pompey Team of the Season Henderson Halford - Pearce - Rocha - Mattock Ward - Norris - Allan Maguire - Futacs - Huseklepp

Spoiler:Goalkeepers Heurelho Gomes - NO/10 Has he played? Not regularly anyhow and he's shit. Take whatever we can for him. Carlo Cudicini - 5/10 Played once or twice in cups and looked OK but had a shocker against Chelsea. Bit old now. Brad Friedel - 6/10 Wouldn't have been my first choice of keeper to bring in but he was free and better than Gomes so he's been an alright temporary solution to a problem that's still there. Retiring. Ben Alnwick - lol/10 On loan to Leyton Orient and still can't break their first team. Spoiler:Defenders Kyle Walker - 7.5/10 Been decent throughout the season going forwards and scored a few decent goals. Showing signs of improvement defensively and all, looking a bit tired now though. Off to Liverpool for £30m cos he's young and English. Vedran Corluka - 5/10 Played once or twice then went on loan to Leverkusen where he's been OK as far as I know. Expect pretty much the same from him next season. Ledley King - 4/10 As much as it pains me to say, Ledley's knees have got the better of him. Solid for the first half of the season but then he remembered he was permanently injured for a bit and hasn't looked half as good since returning. Pay as you play contract. Michael Dawson - 5.5/10 Getting injured while playing for/training with England has been his 'thing' recently and he's done it again. Would've been crucial this season but instead he cracked his shins in half in a friendly against Ukraine or something. Next season's captain until it happens again. Younes Kaboul - 7/10 Never thought I'd say this but, by far our best CB this season. We'll cave to a big bid from someone in summer and be left up shit creek. Ryan Nelsen - 0/10 Fuck off Nelsen. Shit at Blackburn, shit for us. Too old to shift, a drag on the wage bill for the next 3 years. William Gallas - 5/10 Looked alright when he played. Injured too much though, but that's just how we like our centre backs. Benoit Assou-Ekotto - 7/10 It's the afro. Best season from him by a mile, been really decent. First teamer for years to come. Bongani Khumalo - -/10 Is that how you spell Bongani? It's right according to Google but it looks ridiculous. #notracist Adam Smith - ???/10 A generic named youth player who I wasn't even aware existed. He's in our first team squad ffs. Apparently spent some time at Leeds where he did, presumably, *bleep* all. Spoiler:Midfielders Gareth Bale - 6/10 He scored a hattrick against Inter Milan you know, I'd like to see your Robins van Persie do that. (that's the correct pluralisation of RVP as far as I'm aware). Couple of cracking matches, the away win to Norwich coming first to mind. Not recaptured last season's form so well. Off to the moon for £50m if he can, more likely gonna stay here and moan about the Europa League. Luka Modric - 7/10 Still our best midfielder, but for *bleep*'s sake Arry you're allowed to sub him, he won't immediately rage quit to Chelsea if you do. Looking overplayed and tired now and too frequently left on for 90 minutes to the team's overall detriment. Jake Livermore - 6.5/10 He's been really good, I'd like to see more of him next season. Skottee Parka - 6/10 He's got BAGS OF PASSION and he LOVES THE GAME, but he's not very good. At times he's been what we've really needed in midfield, at times the total opposite. Aaron Lennon - 7/10 Been injured cos all the cool kids were doing it, but since coming back has been instrumental in our campaign to bottle everything. Sandro - 7.5/10 Not seen enough of him for my liking. Proved against Blackburn that he's a fantastic player. Does plenty of getting stuck in as well defensively. Tom Huddlestone - /10 The most technically adept man in the universe, once again out for an entire season with injury. Back soon, Tom. #huddlefroDanny Rose - 5/10 Yes I know he plays as a left back but he's a left midfielder on FM so shut it. He's been alright. Niko Krancjar - -/10 Play him more 'Arry. He's quite good. David Bentley - -/10 He's on loan somewhere and I can't remember where, or sum up the effort to care. Pretty much sums it up. Andros Townsend - 3/10 Another loaned out player who I couldn't care less about. Came across very selfish in his cup appearances Iago Falqué - -/10 I thought he was on loan to us? Gets quite good on FIFA so we should keep hold of him. Southmapton's best player all season #notbiased Jermaine Jenas - -/10 He's still here. Spoiler:Forwards Rafel Van der Vaart - 6.5/10 Not captured the form of last season and takes too many set pieces for my liking, but I'd never argue with his inclusion in the side. Giovani dos Santos - 5.5/10 Not played much, poor lad. Got potential to be really good but by that time he'll be somewhere else. £3m and he's yours. Emmanuel Adebayor - 5/10 Went for a medium between the 9/10 he's been half the time, and the 1/10 the other half. At times looked like the forward we really needed, at times he's been a lumbering oaf with the first touch of Andy Carroll. He can take his massive wages elsewhere. Jermain Defoe - 6/10 Scored a few, bit selfish. Classic Jermain season. Spellcheck doesn't like me spelling his name properly. Louis Saha - 3/10 Scored a few since joining us but he's disappeared without warning. He's probably injured and I should be concerned but he's only on loan (I think? Please say we didn't actually buy him) so he's Everton's problem. Unless we bought him. Roman Pavlyuchenko - bye/10 Super Pav. He's gone now. Cristian *bleep*ing Ceballos - 10/10 Barca academy graduate. Gonna be the next Messi. Can't spell Christian Edit: May 01, 12 2:22pm -------------------

Spoiler:Goalkeepers Pepe Reina - struggled this season, may have a lot to do with being trained by someone who isn't fit to lace his boots. Either way, he's stopped saving shots and hasn't been his usual self. 6/10 Doni - been a decent bench warmer for most part. Really unlucky to screw up his chance, harsh to judge him. N/A Brad Jones - I hope I never have to go through what he has this past year. 10/10 for character. Spoiler:Defenders Glen Johnson - one of most important players. Really gives us something else going forward. Excellent at LB when called upon, unfortunately still occasionally forgets he's playing football. Too many injuries too. 7/10 Martin Kelly - still learning his trade, still promising. Should have added goals to his game this season, but solid defensively and an option going forward. Like Johnson, too many injuries. 7/10 John Flanagan - had to play a few games too many. Steep learning curve, should come out the other end a better player. 6/10 Martin Skrtel - Fantastic season. Real stalwart. Still prone to silly challenges mind. 9/10 Daniel Agger - We are such a better team with him in the side. Excellent competitor and fantastic on the ball. Again injuries are his downfall. 8/10 Jamie Carragher - shame his best days are long behind him. Becomes a liability at times and we're always worse off when he's playing. 5/10 Seb Coates - looked shaky early on, but has grew in limited games given to him. Hope to see more of him next season. 6/10 Jose Enrique - looked the signing of the season early on. Then he hit the wall. Hasn't yet bounced back. Needs to work on just about everything in his game, really hard. 6/10 Fabio Aurelio - apparently he's still going? N/A Spoiler:Midfielders Lucas - 10/10 until his injury put a stop to his season. Steven Gerrard - Struggled for form and fitness in a deeper role, with moments of magic still in there. 6/10 Charlie Adam - Such a poor player. Tries Hollywood balls too often, shoots too often, is appalling off the ball. 3/10 Jordon Henderson - Looks a player in the middle. Unfortunately been played out wide too often this season and has struggled because of it. One for the future still. 6/10 Jay Spearing - love his heart, it gets him through games he shouldn't be good enough to get though. 8/10 for effort Jonjo Shelvey - Young, mobile Charlie Adam with time on his side. Promising last few months of the season for him. 6/10 Stewart Downing - one of the worst signings in our history, surely? Hasn't adapted at all, unfortunately I don't think he ever will. 2/10 Spoiler:Forwards Dirk Kuyt - hard work is no longer good enough. Fantastic off the ball, dreadful on it. Hopefully he'll be moved on in the summer. 5/10 Maxi Rodriguez - a few good games here and there, but still goes missing too often for my liking. Should have been used more than has been though. 6.5/10 Craig Bellamy - massive games here and there, injuries rob him of any consistency though and has struggled a lot since the turn of the year. 6.5/10 Andy Carroll - slow start, building up a head of steam now, still needs to score more goals though. Some big performances, unfortunately some players still don't know how to play with him. Will only get better. 5.5/10 Luis Suarez - genuinely one of the most exciting players I've every watched. Always expect something to happen when he gets the ball. I feel he's played away from his best position, always better off a forward rather than leading the line for me. Should have scored 40 goals, so for all his great play, he needs a ruthless streak. It will come. 7/10 Spoiler:Overall Overall we've underachieved. Of course we have. Top 4 was a optimistic, if not realistic, goal. We failed miserably. Could still be a great season though if we can lift two cups. 7/10 (Perhaps 8/10 if the FA Cup is added) ------------------- "At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters.

Spoiler:keepers brad friedel - 8/10 - immense, stick around for another year son. 301 consecutive games (and counting) at this level is a great accolade for any player, so much more reliable than we're used to carlo cudicini - 5.5/10 - absolutely unreal game vs rubin kazan, decent overall in europa league but pretty shit in the cups, dunno if he'll stick around for a final season heurelho - n/a - injured and off to brazil in 2 months. one of my favourite characters in the game, will leave these shores with an unfair tag. far from shite Spoiler:defence younes kaboul - 8.5/10 - much better, putting in the performances we've been expecting, helped by being stuck in favourite position for long spell (rather than shunted to rb), aerially he is a monster, cemented place in X1 and well done to him michael dawson - 5/10 - was a big year for him, breaking through into england team, then the tottenham injury curse rears its ugly head. hopefully get him ready for august where he and younes will continue their excellent blossoming partnership ledley king - 6/10 - past his best. tottenham/king pretty much echoes the sentiments of bolton/kevin davies. that said still offers that calming influence at the back like no other and makes his CB partner put in a better shift each week. past his best but still offers a lot william gallas - 6.5/10 - best thing about him in 10/11 was how his quality shone through in the bigger matches. that's his big hindrance now, age has caught up with him and will probably be off in the summer, still premier league quality and good luck to him getting a PL club kyle walker - 9.5/10 - stay around for 15 years kyle please. could go on to be a legend at the club. defensively excellent, attacking not too shabby, physically a freak of nature (in a nice way ), our player of the seasonbenoit assou-ekotto - 7.5/10 - another good season, getting better every season at the back as he gets more experience, but the brain farts are still there. needs proper lb back up bought in because was looking jaded recently before injury ruled him out the last few games. showboat lovers must adore this guy seabass - 4/10 - i actually rated the guy but a transfer would be best for both parties, in and out the team so much has done him no good, playing in wolves defence must have absolutely killed his confidence. cant remember much about him for us this season really ryan nelsen - -/10 - x_x i dont even want to rate this guy naughton, caulker, smith all impressed on loan, naughton will prob be sold off to a pl team this summer, other two will come into first team squad Spoiler:midfield gareth bale - 8.5/10 - overall a very good season, further enhanced reputation as one of most exciting young players in the world. went off the boil when whole team went off boil and decided he was cristiano ronaldo. twice the player at left wing than anywhere else so needs to stay there, wants to get involved too much at the moment and the goals have dried up luka modric - 7.5/10 - very good, quiet by his standards since january/february time but still excellent nonetheless. top class if not world class player who'll be donning the red of manchester united before too long unfortunately scott parker - 8/10 - excellent impact, has added alot to the team but for all ball winning he does his ball retention is very inconsistent, has needed a break from first x1 for a while now though, harrys overplayed him because he thinks the sun shines out of his arse and he's suffered sandro - 7/10 - will be world class within 3 years and off to ac milan, quote me. another solid season but needs to be starting more games next season to blossom further livermore - 7/10 - very impressed with the boy. thought after that injury on loan at crewe a few years ago he wouldn't make it with us, but of all the youngsters in that academy team (parrett, bostock, mason) its him who's taken the jump into the first team, looks composed and comfortable, has adapted brilliantly, most improved player of the season by a distance hudd - n/a - get better soon you loveable bastardlennon - 6.5/10 - reason he's rated so low is a combo of injuries and harry *bleep*ing him around too much. if he's fit, he starts, simples. offers a dimension not a lot do really, and when harry lines up with a 442 without lennon in the midfield looks the most disjointed/unbalanced thing in the world. harry or whoevers manager, dont take him for *bleep*ing granted next season you cahnts n kranjcar - 6/10 - didnt play enough. suffered from harrys lack of squad rotation and will prob be off as a result. real shame, very talented danny rose - 5/10 - been a hot prospect for about a decade now lol. decent if limited youngster who needs a full season out on loan at this level, then needs to find his best position and stick to it david bentley - shit/10 - will hopefully be gone in the summer, think we see more of him than west ham fans (and i dont even think i see him once) steven pienaar - 4/10 - good player, doesn't suit us, him to everton is a given this summer andros townsend - 6/10 - our best player in the europa league before impressing out on loan for birmingham, another academy player with a big future (we've actually got a few of em now), technically very good for a nippy winger and his goal vs. shamrock is the best goal i've seen all season jenas - see bentley falque - shit. trips over his own feet. literal clownshoes Spoiler:attackers rafa van der vaart - 8/10 - sick guy. has grace and footwork like no other in the league, had a spell of about 6 weeks where he drifted out of games, excellent otherwise and will be our key player next season. i actually love this guy and imagine if we had him and berba at the same time, we'd win the league tbh jermain defoe - 7/10 - good player. suffered from harrys weird/lack of rotation system. wouldn't be surprised or blame him if he wants out adebayor - 7.5/10 - very good, keeps the ball up there, and for all he's offered us (which is alot), his inconsitency shooting means i'm unsure if i want him signed permanently (i mean i'll happily take him if he's the best available but there must be better available lol) saha - 6.5/10 - decent if not unspectacular, triggered his 12 month extension and will be able back up next season pav - i miss the guy but cant remember a thing about him this season other than that free kick v rubin which would've knocked down a family of elephants cameron lancaster - lol ![]() ------------------- Human beings in a mob What's a mob to a king?
