The 20 years premier league XI thing got me thinking about an all time World XI. So many more outstanding players to choose from, can really only think of perhaps 2 or 3 I'd give a definite place to.

Maldini, Pelé and (perhaps) Maradona, if you were wondering.

Not sure I'd put both Ronaldos and Messi in actually. Gotta think about the likes of Raúl, Rivaldo, Maradona and Pele all also competing for the same positions.

Again, Buffon and Casillas [EDIT; Oliver Kahn], imo, are up there with the best in goal

Take a look at his Champion's League goalscoring record. I know it's not indicative of his overall ability but it just tipped it in his favour for me and I can't for the life of me think of anyone better. I've probably missed a few blinders (completely forgot Zidane until browsing the FIFA 100)

Not seen much of Puskas actually playing, know the goal of the year award is named after him obv but can't really pick someone off reputation alone (similarly for Yashin/Zoff)

Beckenbauer's a shout for that defensive midfield slot actually.

I can't even include Maradona cause I've only seen a few highlights here and there. Never seen Beckenbauer except two matches either.
