Ah I didn't even realise he isn't a new gen D:

He's the most efficient player I've ever had. Don't think I've seen him misplace a pass yet. So good.

Beat Yeovil 2-0 in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup, facing Millwall (A) in the 4th Round. We're gonna win the FA Cup.

10 league games in, 8-1-1, top by 4 points. Only loss was at home to Carlilse. 18 shots, 3 on target, Jutkiewicz had a nightmare aswell. James McLean stopped bitching, all good. Premier League in no time.


Also, my regens:

Jordan Harris. The kid I picked up from Solihull Moors for 6k compo. Yes he doesnt have the insane stats of some regens, but he's a more realistic version of a kid plucked from non-league football. 20 league goals last term and on top form already this season. New contract given until 2019 to ward off interest from Notts Forest who are managed by Danny Cadermateri. no joke.



Joe Morrison. This is the first player my youth team has produced that looks remotely good. The rest are generally shite. Nothing special, but for a side with basically no youth recruitment or trianing in place and rented youth facilities, I say not bad.



Augusto Morgado. INF Clairefontaine recruit, as I said before, signed for the set-piece abilities mostly. Struck up a great partnership with Tom Carroll in my midfield this year.




Simongiorgio Pinna. Found in the Italy U-21 team without a club last season, brought him in and immediately became first choice. Prone to a vicious tackle mind, had a few before and he gets sent off in the Plymouth game a few days after the SS.



Tomasz Grembocki. Another INF Clairefontaine freebie. Taking it slow with this fella, just have too many good CB's to throw a 16-year-old in there, but he is a serious prospect. Can only imagine what damage he'll do at set pieces aswell.



Rick Tooby. Another young CB. Released by Leeds, if he reaches his potential, definite future captain.




Now, these next three have only just arrived. I scoured the European U-19 sides for free players, these were the best that would take a trial initially. I see these three more as people I can make a shitload of money off in a few years rather than mainstays unless I'm upper half of the prem by then.

Milan Hubeny. Get his pace up and he'll be a real beast. I dont play with a DM as such, but Morgado may be on the bench soon enough.




Robert Hess. German Right Winger. Again, sensational prospect, released by Stuttgart iirc. Tempted to retrain as a striker or left winger for IF role.



Andre Santos. If I can hold onto him for more than two years I'll be stunned. Unreal signing.

Loving my Everton save. Finished 7th and won the Carling Cup first season. Finished 2nd in the second season (12 pts behind United, mind) and now I'm top of the league by 5pts nearly half way through the season.

Wilfried Zaha has just turned into a beast this year.

Started a new game with my brother after not playing FM for a while. I'm Blackburn and he's West Brom, on the latest update.

Struggled with transfers - had £0, was already over my wage budget, and no one good wanted to go to me Even when i sold players, the board didn't let me have much of it. Managed to bring in a few by paying over 48months. This is what i did:

Up until now i havent had a lot of my team due to injuries. Injuries meant that i didn't even have one left back at my club available to play, and my only right back was Bradley Orr. Played Zenden left back for a few games and he did well! So far:

Beat Newcastle 2-0
Drew with Villa 0-0
Beat Carlisle 4-0
Lost to West Brom 1-0
Beat Bolton 2-0
Lost to Wigan 1-0

and drew with someone else. So a lot of ups and downs so far. Can see great improvement next season though
