Think I'd be fairly gutted if one of our brightest young prospects suffered a serious injury on loan at another club, obviously doesn't apply to everyone else it seems.
'mon Wigan!

Savic reminds me of Coloccini when he first signed him.
Still got time on his side, needs to read the game better as he isn't very quick. Can't be worse then Boateng.
He can be, and he is, assuming you are talking about Jerome Boateng? Boateng is a far better player, but Savic has still got time to get used to the league if Mancini actually decides to keep him. He's looked a nervous wreck though.

Nice one g_lfc, was a good read that. 'I saw in his eyes he could kill me'. Definitely agree with some of that, and it's already been seen in some games, think it was the Fulham game when Maxi got three and Suarez was literally screaming and going berserk he missed a chance at 4-0 up or something. It's a fine line, you try to take away some of that aggression and you won't end up with half the player he is, but then he's also shown he's prone to silly decisions. It was interesting in that article that the reporter stated that Suarez was very disappointed with the lack of support given to him after Bakkal incident that he wanted to move.

It was interesting in that article that the reporter stated that Suarez was very disappointed with the lack of support given to him after Bakkal incident that he wanted to move. See I got that argument with Keane and Vieira, but Suarez? Really? It definitely applies to Keane and Vieira, but if you take away it from Suarez, I think it would affect the tenacity at what he plays at. Sure, it could work the other way, he might stop doing the rash things he does and excel in the footballing aspects, but we'd never know that unless he did actually try and curb his aggressive nature on the pitch. For me, his tenacity, closing down, never say die attitude all stems from his aggressive style of play, you try and tell Suarez to take that away from his game, and for me, he's not the same player. At the end of the day, it's a hypothetical situation. I don't think Suarez is a man who will be happy to not play in the nature he does, and I don't think we will see it. If he stopped being a nutter and played better than he does when he is a lunatic, minus all the bad stuff he does, happy days.

That confirmed by a reliable source, Junior Messi? Saw them coming out the Hilton before when I was in town, definitely saw Bale, so he'll probably be playing like. Feeling oddly confident about our chances tonight, hopefully we'll get to see Suarez, Gerrard and Carroll on at the same time, read something the other day that stated they've only played 60 odd minutes or something together. Anyway, I think we'll go for the following. Reina
Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique
Spearing
Gerrard - Henderson
Kuyt - Bellamy
Carroll Although I suppose I wouldn't be too disheartened to see Suarez start. It is getting rather foggy around here..

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Skrtel, Spearing, Kuyt, Gerrard, Adam, Carroll, Bellamy. Subs: Doni, Suarez, Henderson, Coates, Downing, Carragher, Aurelio.
Kelly vs Bale, should be a nice battle. 'mon Andy!

Won't that be Kelly at left back? Not entirely sure there tbh with you, just Johnson has played left back in some big previously, whereas I've never seen Kelly play LB apart from perhaps his debut at Lyon? I'd rather have Kelly go up against Bale anyway, he's superior defensively for me.

Chappy isn't wrong, Derek's second touch is normally a header or a tackle, but we sill love him. We've looked comfortable but not threatening, think we'll see a change probably Adam for Suarez around the 65th. Andy has looked decent, lacks that service he needs though. Johnson and Kelly been solid so far.

Sigh, same old same old. To be fair, some brilliant defending by Spurs, lost count the amount of times Parker, King or Dawson was in the way. Least it looks like Gerrard and Carroll are picking some form up.
Suarez to get sent off against Utd.

Is it just me that doesn't get this 'should have won, didn't deserve to lose' etc? If you take your chances, you win. If not, you don't deserve to win.
Kelly needs a prolonged run in the side, as solid a full back we have.

I was using it as a example, you dribbler. I was referring to a Liverpool fan stating that we deserved to win, when we clearly didn't because we didn't take our chances.

But you said "you didn't get it" so do you get it now? didn't say we did jmste. should have taken out chances though, that Carroll volley as an example No, because the majority of stuff you say doesn't make sense to me, if I'm being brutally honest. I'm saying I don't understand when people say that we deserve to win because we had more chances, or we had greater possession etc. That all doesn't matter at all if you don't take your chances, hence my confusion at someone apparently believing we deserved to win, when we clearly didn't. It's not just this game, it's been after numerous game when someone has typed something along the lines of 'deserved to win, didn't deserve to lose', I was just bringing it up as a general point. quote lfc 2004
Maybe, if someone misses a clear chance that he should have scored though, then surely you could say we should have won it. I can see where your are coming from, but I still wouldn't say we deserve to win if we missed a glorious chance, regardless if it was a sitter or whatever, still believe that unless you take your chances you don't deserve to win frankly.

Dalglish is such a *bleep*ing *bleep*.
No idea what's happened to him this season. Pressure. Wenger's under pressure, AVB's under pressure, the majority of PL managers are under pressure. None of them have been as undesirable as Dalglish in interviews. I should probably have put under-achieving in there as well, sorry about that. You put last two periods he's been in charge into contrast and you can see why there's been such a shift in his persona. Last season he was just in as a temporary, no pressure whatsoever and he thrived on it, was all cheerful and witty interviews. This season, you add the money he's spent that many people would have thought who have high us higher in the table at this point, you add the events the club has gone through and the increasing media spotlight on the club this season and you start to scratch the surface on why he's undesirable to the media. AVB and Wenger aren't exactly saints in their press conferences when they get results they don't exactly want either. Haven't seen the latest one anyway, what's he said?

Star of Spurs, aye I agree with you. Think one of the main parts of Kenny in the media is to try and deflect the criticism away from the player's onto himself, doesn't always go down the right way though. In fact, his dry demeanour of answering questions has probably went down the wrong with way with a lot of people this season. Dunno why he's brought that up mind, was the question directly asked about what he thought about the suspension of Suarez, or did he just bring it up? Thought it'd be best for everyone in the club to try and move on from what has happened, bringing up a controversial view like that isn't going to help, especially after the situation has been dealt with and he's had his punishment.

You know who has marked Gerrard out of a game? Fabrice. You know who's done it more than once? Fabrice.
Is that so? Well in that case, I declare England take Fabrice to the Euro's instead of Parker. But he's the media darling and he shows pure, old school style pashun! So it won't happen.
