	At the end of the day they're both quite shite with free kicks. Ronaldo hits the wall every time and Messi usually hits it over. Just cos ronaldo has some big Juninho rip off run up doesn't make him better. That being said I prefer ronaldo. -------------------

	Sweeney I also think that but he looks like he'll play on for as long as he can. Ronaldo will definately leave Real Madrid around the same time as Mourinho I think.

	Even though neither are good Ronaldo is better at free kicks but that's about all he's better at. Messi is liked more because of his attitude and Ronaldo is seen as cocky who thinks he's better than everyone which is why a lot of people hate him. Imo. I can see him joining Man City but they'll need a few more big names and a better manager not to mention outrageous wages.

	Ronaldo's free kicks taking is overrated. When they go in, they're brilliant, but he takes every single one and hits the wall way too much. Messi doesn't take that many free kicks, but he's scored some good ones. Probably dominates Ronaldo in terms of FK goals per attempt. Xavi/Alves usually take Barca's. -------------------

	Ronaldo's free kicks are mostly luck. It's to do with placement of the ball, and how hard he strikes it. Messi is far too small to be a serious aerial threat. Ronaldo, being significantly taller than Messi, means he will win more headers. And just becaue Messi doesn't win headers, doesn't mean he doesn't have good heading ability. Just look at his goal in the CL final against Man United, the first time. Which, I'm sure, was another one of those big games that Ronaldo disappeared in.

He has a certain way of placing and hitting the ball, which he's obviously practised a thousand times and more.
