He's always seemed a decent PL standard player to me, but £80k a week. It beggars belief. It really does.

Baines wouldn't join Newcastle anyway.
He'll be at Everton for the rest of his career unless a bigger club come in for him and/or Everton proper hit the wall.

Exonerate, what happened to Kuyt? Remember really rating him when he first came to the Prem, when he was upfront but it seems Kenny's forced him out wide, where he's been getting less and less chances. Kenny forced him out wide? Think you're looking for a certain Mr. Benitez there. Kenny has tried playing him up front and out wide, and he's been woeful. g_lfc loves him though. He's the worst footballer in the world. Still love him though.

He's overrated anyway. Much better value elsewhere. I'm never his biggest fan, (still too raw for me) but the kid from Basel would be a similar price and is miles better than him.

That's the price they are talking about with regards to Zaha. Gala had a 10 million euro bid rejected for Shaqiri. Apparently wanting a bit more.

Tevez and his "team" are the biggest mercenaries in football. Would hate for him to join us. The sooner he sods off abroad and we don't have to deal with his sagas any more, the better.
