May be a bit late to the party, but you were negative in the league cup game and in the league game you lacked a clue in midfield, not a finisher.

I was quite impressed with Carroll on the night, got into the right areas, made the right runs, had no-one in support and no-one delivering the right service.

So you're gonna totally disregard the first half of the cup game where we made most of the attacking imputus. Dunno how Dalglish shoring up the defence against a team of with your attacking quality for the last 20minutes can be described as a negative performance.

Both the midfield and Carroll were at fault in the league game, Carroll just ran around like a headless chicken. You just sat back and picked us off know full well Charlie Adam would gift you the ball. Nevertheless there's a difference between being negative and just plain shit.
