This was my first thought really, I'm not fully aware of all thats been said but my understanding is that Suaréz was open about the fact that he made a reference to colour which wouldn't be interpreted in the same way in South America. But I don't get what reason he would have to make reference to Evra's colour. Goes to show that players coming in from other continents need to be briefed about what is acceptable in our culture and what isn't.

At any rate if there is evidence of racism then the FA have to act on it, be it Suaréz, Terry or anyone else.

It's not a reference to colour. At all. In any way. It's another word for mate, how are people not interpreting this correctly? There are plenty of other players, both wait and black who have been called negrito by Suarez since he has moved here. It's a much more colloquial way of saying amigo.

You've not discussed though, you've just called people stupid, questioned (rhetorically) their morals and added nothing to the discussion. Although everyone else is going round in circles on the issue atleast they are trying to persuade the other side of their own views.
And the article you linked to wasn't released by Terry like you seemed to be suggesting, it's just a news article that says he has denied racial abuse but seems to miss out the bit where Terry admits to using it when telling Ferdinand he hadn't said it. Also people (or atleast myself) were saying Chelsea acted with more class than your lot, which isn't saying alot.

So? Its still by far more stupid and laughable then anything LFC has done. How you can deny what you said when its clear to see on the video and also add the fact that they are charging him with it. Funny that everything Liverpool do gets laughed at/criticised etc etc yet that slips under the radar.

it is your problem though lol because you're getting 'butthurt' over how you cant have a good discussion on here (peak for you, i manage to most days as 99% of posters will also)

i am going to be honest, liverpool fans on the internet, in real life, wherever for the most display a victims mentality and you're so far wrapped up in it you're hurting. this will be ridiculed by yourself but honestly, and i have no reason to be pro-liverpool or anti-liverpool before i get any accusations, the only people who'll deny a victimised mentality at liverpool fc, stemming from the majority of their fans is these people themselves.

chelsea fans however, the fans of a football club i've disliked for 20 years are putting themselves in a better light over a similar issue. terry, like suarez has had his character completely assasinated only that has been going on for years now.

And if we go back to the start I simply questioned the length of the ban and considered the political factors (maybe a little dramatically). I never actually defended Suarez yet still got jumped on. So from there I gave up making valid discussion and joined in with the rest.

Some people have made some valid points but lets face it. The majority posting in here are doing because they do not like Suarez and are fishing for a reaction.

I do not agree with everything that's happened. Liverpool fans donating to pay the fine? Stupid. Some claiming conspiracy theories? Stupid.

However the press release from Liverpool. Is it really that laughable? I am quite confident Liverpool are aware of slander etc so would not of made that statement without thinking. Then again who knows they may end up getting in trouble for that.

Also the T-shirts. Dramatic? yes. Shows Suarez the support he has at the club though. I can only see that as a positive. I know at a time like that I would appreciate that level of support amidst all the hate.

I am done with this now, far too much to do today. I also think I would get alot more sense out of the people down at the Local special school than some of the people on here.

I could not give a *bleep*ing shit about what people think. Even more so on a internet forum. Like I have said on numerous occasions I have not defended Suarez's actions once.

Again another generalization that is wrong. Most Liverpool fans I know have had pretty much a chilled reaction. It was harsh but fair enough and moved on. Given I have not once defended Suarez I fail to see how I am butt hurt from all of this.
