Confirmed In Brad Friedel - Aston Villa - Free The 40 year old US goalkeeper arrives at the Lane (allegedly after turning down West Brom and Liverpool) presumably for one last payday before his retirement on a two year deal. Friedel's arrival asks a few questions - will he be first choice or second, and what of Cudicini? Seems like an odd transfer at the moment. Crisitan Ceballos - Barcelona - Free The promising youngster arrives after spending 7 years in the famous Barcelona academy. Another promising youth player to go with Caulker and Townsend, will be interesting to see how he develops. Souleymane Coulibaly - Siena - Undisclosed Promising young forward comes in after doing exceptionally well for Ivory Coast at the U17 World Cup to add to our promising youth side. Very high hopes I have. Emmanuel Adebayor - Manchester City - Season Long Loan We have a striker...albeit temporary. Cracking business, should do well. Yaqo Falque - Juventus - Season Long Loan Yep, I've no idea why either. Scott Parker - West Ham - 5m Football Writer's Player of the Season 10/11 comes in to add some steel to our midfield. Fantastic signing. Confirmed Out Stipe Pletikosa - Spartak Moscow - End of Loan Our 3rd choice keeper was only to make up the numbers of our squad and since Friedel's coming in, we no longer had a need for him. I honestly cannot remember him playing once for us. Jonathan Woodgate - Released - Free The winner of the Carling Cup 07/08 (ty Danny) has sadly not been able to negotiate a pay as you play deal, and therefore the injury prone lad will be released. Bye Woody, we'll always have the memories :'( Jamie O'Hara - Wolves - Undisclosed (presumably 5m) Wolves make the loan permanent surprising absolutely no one. Good deal all round. Steven Caulker - Swansea - Season Long Loan Sent out to get PL experience with the newly promoted, due to probably not getting a look in this year. 	Interesting article regarding Modric The part about Osman/Brunt outassisting/scoring him is bullshit (type of player to play the pass before the assist etc. etc.) but interesting to see that Spurs have won more games without Modric than with. ------------------- ejaculadhesive.fm\|\|musicians corner

	Some stats are so stupid lol. It's like Bale's 2 assists last year, he played far better than that suggested. Talks with Diarra seem to be back on atm, decent I suppose. Just unsure on whether I want it to go through as it would halt Sandro's long term progress. Seen a lot on twitter about Redknapp saying we could be a better team if Luka went. Read the quotes and it's bleeping bullshit. All he said was that we could sign 3/4 players with the money, which is true, nout about being better off. Wish the media would stop trying to sell/unsettle Modric with false statements. -------------------

	I don't think you'd be able to get 4 players that will improve Spurs' team much further and make them better just from the Modric money. Someone who is good enough to replace Modric would cost half the money they're going to receieve anyways. 	I think it would be quite smart to sell him say a week before the transfer window closes, tbh. Redknapp speaks perfect sense really in the theory that if we get under forty million for him then we can bring in a few very good players and have more than enough money for players, if required, in January. Having said that, if we keep him, use him to try and get into the CL and sell him next year his value would only have increased. 	The later it goes on, the better deals you'll often find for players, example: Rafa Van der Vaart. If Madrid had been offering him around two weeks prior to the window closing, they'd have been asking for more. 	Risky strategy to use that though. Clubs will know you have the money to spend from the Modric deal and will push there prices up and with a week before the window it could mean that you end up panic buying and spending too much money on the wrong player.
