Think it might've been a free kick to Newcastle for the dive. Not sure though, depends on the referee's judgement.

A similar thing happened last season with Bolton vs Blues. Jussi got sent off for slapping Johnson and they said at half-time, by the letter of the law it should be a penalty.

Hmmm I'll check that when I get home, thought when the offence wasn't committed in line with the play it was indirect. Could be correct though, as hand balls are indirect free kicks and that's a penalty. Plus we should have had a free kick for the dive before that
