What a goal.

Been knocking on the door for a while, I know it's not the Champions' League group stages but it's still a massive achievement when you consider the teams that aren't in it and the teams they could play.

Remember feeling so gutted that time Drogheda were absolutely robbed of an away win against Dynamo Kiev and wondering if it would ever turn out well for a LoI club in Europe.

That goal is special. Wow.

Thanks but I'm not looking for any sympathy card. People are always gonna have their preconceived opinions and that's fair enough but It's not like I'm supporting two teams from the same country or ones that are anything similar in regards of reputation.Nor am I jumping on any bandwagon

The club is run on a part time basis and will probably stay that way. It's why the finances are so secure at the moment. The club has stated it doesn't want to do a Bohs or Cork.

Didn't see the game. So it was a case of being unlucky, rather than being outplayed? That is some comfort. Still an absolute disgrace though.

Was well impressed with Carroll and Townsend they are arguably squad quality, Kane couldn't get in the game much but he looks as strong and as powerful as I remember and it's a shame that everything went down the left 'cus Fredericks just couldn't get in the game. Felt really sorry for him when he went off but he looks like a Lennon type player too much anyway: Speedy but lacking any decisive final ball.

Oh and Jambo, Hearts' fans are the *bleep*ing nuts man. They did not stop once. Some decent mugging chants as well.

They pretty much mugged us right off when they started singing the chants that we used up their place like "Are you West Ham in disguise" etc and "Can we play you every week". Not overly funny chants, but a bit of banter (soz, Cashis, couldn't think of a better word).
