Barcelona (2) vs Real Madrid (0)

The first leg saw a very heated game, with a flash of brilliance and 2 goals from Lionel Messi deciding the result.

Both sides lost on the weekend, Barcelona to Real Sociedad and Real Madrid to Zaragoza, however Barcelona will go into this match confident that they can see off Real Madrid thanks to their 2 away goals last week, against a team they haven't lost at home to since 2007. Madrid will be missing Pepe and Ramos both through suspension from cards picked up in the first leg, and manager Jose Mourinho will have to watch from the stands due to his sending off from the touchline.

This is the last of four encounters between the clubs in 18 days. Madrid ended a run of five league losses to Barcelona with a 1-1 home draw on 16 April, then beat them 1-0 in the Copa del Rey final on 20 April.

This could be better than the last 3 games combined and still be shite. Not exactly looking forward to it.

I refer to it as the soap opera rather than the derby.

I do find it curious how nobody has picked up on the fact this "wondergoal" was going wide until it was deflected in. Think it was Sc o tt that pointed it out to me.

They'll probably do it deliberately. I mean, Di Maria's in the cup final came in the 120th minute, it was as though he did it just so Jose could tick a box

Cant see past Barcalona. Should be a heated game with lots of drama though, all of that will fade when Barca get 1 goal.

As long as Busquets, Alves and Pedro all leave the pitch on stretchers at some stage I don't care about this game.

I definitely won't be watching this live. If it turns out good I'll watch the replay. However, I'm truly hoping it is a shit game that takes the worst of both teams and amplifies it. Maybe then we'll see the blowback that will cause real change. I can dream.
