I have tickets to see them at Newcastle and London O2 for July. Of course those shows are now June 2012 so they can finish the album. Grr.

Just glad I hadn't booked my travel down to London yet.

Greggs, McDonalds, Subway, 3 chip shops, a Wilkinsons, a Sainsbury's, an Asda, 3 pubs, 2 pizza parlours and my house were all within walking distance for lunch. Kings Heath rocks!

It was so much better when Sicilian Pizza was just a take away though. That pizza is beastly.

I do, although I hate the game at the moment after I blew up in the back nine on Thursday and stormed off the course. Sends me insane sometimes but then an hour after the round I want to play again. I can go from the best golfer to the worst golfer in a couple of holes, can hit my drives as long as anyone but then I'll follow it up with an out of bounds on the next hole taking away any profit from the previous great drive/hole. My best is 83 in practice but practice rounds rarely translate to good rounds for me, best round in competition is 87 I think. My short game is nowhere near up to standard in general.

I hate you with your rounds of eighty My best ever in my life was 94 when I was 16 (Salthill - Galway). I think the main reason I score so badly now is my putting is dire. I must have 3 putted about 12 holes today. I haven't broke 100 for two years now, plus I scuff so many shots it's unreal. Didnt lose any balls today tho

My only saving grace is that my brother is *bleep*ing awful. He's only been playing about a year though. He hit 146 today.

My driving is pretty shocking tbh. I can hit my 4 iron out of light rough further than I can drive off a tee. Plus I have a natural fade which means I aim left off the tee and the odd time I hit it straight I lose a ball. I've tried countless things to fix it, but nothing works.

Also, I was playing on a course that clearly hadnt been watered for about 6 billion years. The greens were solid a a rock, the amount of chips that would land short but then just keep bouncing and then roll off the other end of the green was unreal. I wont be playing there again, it's one of those courses that isnt enclosed so there are scally kids sitting around drinking and cycling around the place. There was even two kids on mopeds whizzing around the paths. Altrincham's a *bleep*ing shithole.

I never play golf properly but went range the other day and hit 5 shots with a driver that were dead straight and over 200 yards in a row. As soon as I get an iron out though the ball either comes off of the side or the bottom of my club, I'm guessing it's my stance and where the ball is situated in the stance. Clearly got a decent technique for the bigger clubs but can't get to grips with irons

You probably have some natural ability at it, if you wanted to take it up properly you should probably get some lessons with a golf pro to learn the basics.

There's a massive difference between the course and the range too. Easier to hit balls with no pressure, no real direction or distance, you can just hammer them as hard as you can.

Andy Jay Sounds like you're coming in an outside to inside swing path or moreso you're overcompensating for your slice by aiming further left. The further your feet go left, the further the ball will fade so maybe that's the problem.
