I'm not so sure. Yes, there are a few members on Neo who are Portsmouth fans, but PF aside, none of them are really that active, and post more sporadically.

Not too fussed about the player awards, but I reckon if you're going to do them, do them separately, and soon (i.e. get the nomination stage started ASAP, and have them announced no later than mid-June).

I'm not a twitterer myself, but after discovering that Joey Barton now has a Twitter account, I was wondering if maybe the forum could or should accommodate some sort of index of official player accounts.

Would reviving a general football discussion thread be an idea then for the summer, for the teams that don't have their own thread, and where the topic isn't to do with transfers?

How about one with a certain subject that changes where people can give their opinon and debate openly about football matters in general such as "what defines world class" and so on.

Why not just make a thread for that question in it's own right? We don't have to limit the forum to grouping things together.

Well I only suggest it cos when the convo dies down you can change the subject and put the current one as the sub-header.

I see what you're saying, in that it will prompt the creation of a new topic to discuss, rather than nothing being discussed when this one issue is exhausted.

I'd suggest maybe just going ahead with this particular thread, on world class, and it can always be transformed into a general discussion topic at a later date with a couple of crafty edits.
