I was talking about this thread. I don't think any Rangers fans on here thought he said it.

Just watched Commons' 1st goal from yesterday - what a screamer. A definite goal of the season contender.

Just had a very quick scan over the last couple of pages, and I'm struggling to see who on this board has definitively said Lennon was a definite racist? Only scanned the last couple of pages so may have missed it.

If he's guilty or not, Lennon certainly hasn't helped his cause over the last few days. He has been abusive to our players over the last two (at least) old firm games, something which your average decent manager leaves to players on the field. Also, he's felt the need to apologise to his own board - something unprecedented for Lenny - he's behaved like a twat before on numerous occasions so why the apologies now? Then theres his reaction with the whole touchline bust up when Mccoist (quite rightly) told him to stay away from Rangers players. Plus the reaction from the celtic staff around him when he supposedly said the alledged "racist" statement. They certainly reacted as if he'd said something vile, and knowing him Im sure it was - be it racist or not. Add all this to his ridiculous antics about referees earlier in the season and its fairly obvious that he's a bit of a unpleasant human being, to put it politely.

I wasn't specifically directing GIRUY at member of this forums - and I agree completely that Lennon hasn't helped himself in this. What he should do now though is shut up completely, serve his touchline ban, and win the league and the two cups. Let Thommo or Mjallby do the Press shite.
Diouf was asking for it though, he was the one who entered the Celtic Dugout and the one who was having a go at big Johan in the tunnel at HT.

I think this will all boil down into nothing for the tie being, but I fear for Lenny. Some of the threats and abuse he is getting by some people who aren't even Rangers fans - just anti-Catholic Neanderthals. FFS, his lawyer has just said he has had to move out of his house - why? For being a Catholic Celtic fan? *bleep*ing SCUM.

Because I don't believe the people who sent him bullets and a nail bomb are Rangers season ticket holders, or Rangers fans at all even.

He's always been a hate figure, whether or not he was a Catholic he was a thug on the park and he's a *bleep*ing rodent as a manager. His religion has nothing to do with it.

Considering he had to retire from international football early because he was subject to abuse because he played for a "catholic" team, I'd say it is definitely the reason a lot of people hate him.

Yeah I suppose he is. But the racism fiasco would have completely destroyed his career and that was down to the people trying to do anything in their power to get Lennon into severe bother, so I'm glad Diouf has told the truth.

Not think Diouf just said that so he was in the headlines for the right reasons?

Thing is if he said it then he deserved to be punished and his career down the pan, but it looks as if he didnt so...
