	Not seen any tv stuff but heard at the time that it was a clear-as-day handball and should have been a penalty and a red card. Bougherra looked like he threw himself a bit but there looked to be some contact. Truth is the performance wasn't good enough. The first half was dire and i hope i never see that formation again in my life. Edu was useless, don't know how he played the whole 90. Thought we played well for the first 20 minutes of the second half though, and PSV looked a completely different team when we didn't stand off them and actually attacked. Eventually we were unlucky but shoudl have scored at least one without the need for either of those penalty claims. On the plus side Wylde was superb tonight, really impressed me. -------------------

Did you not watch both matches? They'd struggle in the Championship. Yes I realise we couldn't beat them, so what does that make us? But you have to consider that it's easier to defend than break through a defence. Especially when our gameplan was just hoof it to Carroll. I wouldn't mind, but we actually got through on a couple of occasions if Kuyt could have just bleeping stayed onside. He was offside all night, same with the last tie.

	To be honest, I don't see them progressing any further in the competition. They were nothing special, and we made them look half decent in both legs.

	PEStar, that was last season though. And even then, the Portugese league isn't exactly the strongest of leagues is it? EricF, I completely agree. They'll get tonked in the next round. Their gameplan is just to sit back and defend, judging on both of the legs. In the first leg they just sat back and defended all game, got one lucky break with Kyrgiakos being daft and they end up winning.

	13 of the 15 players in my fantasy team got knocked out tonight LOL. Only Rossi (Villarreal) and Engelaar (PSV) survived. Shit night for British clubs but they gave themselves too much to do without any of them getting an away goal last week.
