Maybe although they will want to make a profit, maybe be tight with transfer money where Lim would maybe invest in the team. Although I wouldn't be happy giving Hodgson money to spend.

I'd like Guus Hiddink to take charge. I mean I don't see why he would turn us down. And if he was able to turn the club around (a big ask I know) he would be considered a icon, maybe even a club legend.

Hiddink's only just started the Turkey job anyway, and doubt he'd do both at the same time, he only did the Chelsea one because a) they're Chelsea and b) was only until the end of the season.

Despite the stature of the club, there are very few top class managers who would take over the Liverpool job, considering a) the state they're in and b) if they fire Hodgson after a few months.

I agree with you. He's been wonderful for us.

All he's done is stood up to Hicks and done what RBS wanted him to. That was perfect for you given the circumstances but that doesn't mean he would do a good job under normal circumstances over a longer period.

Ok, I was enjoying seeing a big team take some shit(it's like a dress rehearsal for what will inevitably happen to United in the next 5 years) but he's taking this piss now.
