	I can see what he's saying, Liverpool will of been given special treatment by RBS, even though thats because it's in RBS's interests it's still helped Liverpool avoid administration which other clubs might view as unfair. -------------------

	But the only way you can enter administration is if you can't pay your debts when they're recalled. If our debts don't get recalled, then we can't enter administration. There is no special treatment, and nothing for other clubs to get worked up about. As far as I'm aware there is no set rule stating that you can't have your deadline extended to avoid administration, infact I'm pretty sure most other clubs would have had an extension of some sort along the way. ------------------- "At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. 	Yeah it looks like the new bid means nothing to NESV because they have already signed stuff. The Liverpool board has agreed to sell the club to NESV for £300 million but their ability to do so has been challenged by co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett. Tuesday's High Court hearing will help to determine whether the takeover has the legal basis to reach completion. But Lim, who is being advised by the British firm of lawyers Macfarlanes and by the Wong Partnership of Singapore, is preparing a rival offer and hopes to outbid NESV to take control of Liverpool. It is understood that Lim's interest forced NESV to increase its original offer last week, leading the group, fronted by John W Henry, to emerge as the favoured party. Lim believes his offer was at least as attractive as that on the table from the owners of the Boston Red Sox. It is being reported by the BBC that Lim was told Liverpool's board was concerned that NESV would have to borrow to finance the takeover. But Henry's group has insisted it will not load up the Premier League side with debt. The American group's £300 million agreement is signed and sealed, pending High Court hearings this week which will address the issue of whether chairman Martin Broughton and the board had the authority to sell the club against the wishes of the co-owners, who stand to lose £144 million if the NESV deal goes through. Clearly Lim is looking closely at the opportunity that might arise if Hicks should win his court case, nullifying the NESV deal, and the club ends up in administration on Friday, when the deadline expires for the Americans to repay Royal Bank of Scotland £237 million. Lim owns several Manchester United-themed bars in Asia and according to Forbes magazine is said to have a £1 billion fortune. Report Post

	Starting to get a bit nervous now. Hicks seems to be doing better than he should be. Apparently Broughton et al started to call themselves the home team in emails and sent one to Hicks by accident. Edit: What's going on. Looks like a Friday finish is out of the question. Not too sure what that means though.. Administration is a lot more likely now than ever before. Edit 2: Judgement to be made tomorrow at 10:30 .. it was only before the judge said it would have been highly ambitious for it to conclude before Friday. Something must have changed his mind. 	I don't think they've made a statement on administration have they? If it isn't sorted by Friday then they can take control, put us into admin and sell us to whoever they like. 	I'd imagine that it being swiftly concluded should mean they're allowed to remove Hicks and Gillette. Also, it's not in the banks interest to send the club into administration as they'll then see a diminished return. 	if Hicks and Gillette win the court case and refuse to sell to anyone then RBS would probably take over and put them into admin, that's the only scenario I think they would do it though. -------------------
