Benson had five clear chances to score but missed them all, their keeper sounded good. :/

Also good clean sheet for Worner after conceding seven in his first two games for us.

He was pretty decent, the Dag & Red goalie, there was a great bit of banter with the Dag & Red fans especially considering it was only the paint pot trophy. I'm hoping that Benson wasn't on his best form because he was poor when one on one.

Fingers crossed, we get a good draw, I'd definetly be happy with Southend away.

Was their keeper Tony Roberts? He's a legend, you get a rate laugh out of him.

We are still in the North Eastern section, however according to the rules the 16 winners of round one ( 4 in easch section, NE, NW,SE and SW) automatically play the 16 teams awarded byes into round 2.

So from my geographical calculations, we can only possibly play 4 or 5 teams... either at home or away.

They are Peterboro, Huddesfield, Burton, Bradford (possibly Stockport dependent on which of these two are placed in the North Western draw)...

Someone posted that on our forum, so god knows.

Northern section (east): Burton v Rotherham, Hartlepool v Bradford, Sheffield Wednesday v Chesterfield, Huddersfield v Peterborough.

Southern section (west): Bristol Rovers v Aldershot, Swindon v Torquay, Cheltenham v Plymouth, Hereford v Exeter.

Southern section (east): Colchester v Wycombe, Leyton Orient v Brentford, MK Dons v Charlton, Barnet v Southend.

Looks like you got what you wanted.

So much for local draws, instead of an hours drive to somewhere like MK Dons we get a three hour drive to Huddersfield away. Hopefully Huddersfield aren't taking it seriously as our chairman's aim is always to win this trophy, we'll be putting out a full strength side most likely.
