I think Balotelli will turn out to be a great signing. He might be a prick, but Mancini will know what he's like from his time at Inter. Doubt he would of signed him if he didn't get on with him.

IMO, he is the most overrated footballer in the world right now. What has he done since the injury he suffered in October? Except retire from international football and then "apparently" return for Sweden.

Bellamy return to Celtic wouldnt surprise me. Mr Shiek is prepared to get rid of him and he needs first team football or he is retiring so it seems logical.

Chelsea's midfield is envious in terms of the sheer domination they can put out. If they had some world class wingers (Malouda is good but not world class, Kalou too inconsistent) then they'd be unreal.

To be honest, I think Mikel is alright and will be a good enough to take over from Michael Essien if he leaves Chelsea. I thought he was OK last season when he had to step in when Essien was injured.

The thinking behind the signing of Ramires is obviously long-term with Lamps not getting any younger. When you look at the potential in a midfield three of Essien - Ramires - Mikel, never mind the youth coming through, I think we're in a good shape. Season too soon for the young guns this year though methinks in terms of the league.
