Wilshere will be one of the greatest England players in years. Frankly, based on the performance against Algeria he should be starting. He's got pace, vision, he's versatile, he's got a shitload of bravery and he ain't afraid to go in for a tackle. Along with that he's got one of the best left foots going that can do pretty much anything he wants. Only thing he lacks is a right foot/the confidence to use his right foot.

Wenger should be praised, cause this is the kid that will carry England's midfield from the 2014 World Cup to the 2022 European Championships if not beyond. Of that, I am almost certain.

He's a *bleep*ing fantastic ball winner (when Mascherano goes he'll be the best in the league IMO) that can run with a ball far better than he's given credit for, isn't actually that terrible a passer though he won't be playing any 40 yarders anytime soon but can't shoot.
And I mean the ball winning thing. Players like Palacios are great cause they'll make cheap fouls at the right time along with making good tackles. Muamba is fantastic cause he doesn't, he just wins the ball and rarely commits himself. In terms of straight out defensive ability England have no defensive midfielder better. Would probably be best in a 4-5-1 though.

22 as well, so not really young, especially for a defensive mdifielder.

Nah, he's on loan. Really hoping he'll be back on loan next season, after that I imagine he'll be starting for you, or at least in some sort of squad rotation.

Hmmm, very reliable sources, would certainly now be very surprised if we don't get him.

Of course we now have the dilemma of Wilshere. Petrov's left wing, so Wilshere will be no more than back-up there unless Petrov gets injured. So he'll be in direct competition with Holden, who I like, and I think Coyle does too. Nice dilemma to have though.

I actually don't think we'll sell him unless we're sure we can get another left back in, either as cover or just a new starting left back.
Unless Coyle thinks Ricketts can cover.
