I suppose it's contrasting that the season before last, we were pushing for the title and then had a poor last season, and you've done similar. But as DIOS said, you're hoping for more teams to slip up, and you're further from the top than we were.

Liverpool under Benitez have actually been exactly the same as Arsenal since 2004, except doing everything one year later. I noticed another similarity to add to the list I posted earlier. It now reads:

Arsenal win major trophy in 2004 (Premiership unbeaten)
Liverpool win major trophy in 2005 (Champions league)
Arsenal win FA Cup in 2005
Liverpool win FA Cup in 2006
Arsenal lose 2-1 in the Champions League final to a European giant in 2006
Liverpool lose 2-1 in the Champions League final to a European giant in 2007
Arsenal lead the league for a long time, but Man Utd win it in 2008
Liverpool lead the league for a long time, but Man Utd win it in 2009

So the manager's records are very similar in recent years. People can then point to Wenger as the obvious better manager because he's never finished 5th and allowed our local rivals to finish 4th (although he almost did), and he's done everything on a fraction of the budget Benitez has.

If Liverpool got 4th place this season, I'd run through Manchester City Centre stark naked. It isn't impossible, I know Liverpool could do it, but will they? No way in hell.

Valencia was still being held as he crossed the line into the box, if Webb sees it as a foul he has no option. Penalty.

Exactly, he continued holding him inside the box and let go when Valencia was inside the box. Penalty.

Had Liverpool recieved this penalty there wouldn't even be a discussion here.
